"Why are you standing in my way!?" Drakkar looked at Ariston in disbelief
"Because Aelin is my princess." He answered, "And for all the unfair things that have happened to her, I believe Prince Draegon's decision is just."
Drakkar was taken aback, "We can find a better solution!" He said after a pause
"A small precious life was already taken," Ariston's eyes turned cold, "Her child was murdered and you want to find another solution?"
"I-" He paused, "still, my mother wasn't the murderer," He tried to move ahead but Ariston moved his sword towards his skin. The tip of it pinched Drakkar's neck and he backed away a little.
"Your mother is an accomplice," Ariston stated
