The mysterious man decided to not use magic as after seeing a single glimpse of Roy's power he decided it correct to not hold back.
He took a small syringe out of his pocket and injected it directly in to his body system. Firstly, he vomited out some blood but moments later he was now fully mobile.
He removed the cloth and said, "My name is 20 and it will be a pleasure to fight you, sword saint disciple.",
Roy did not pay attention but instead with his sword dance now at the second deity. Twenty did not dodge the attack this time but simply said "darkest arrow."
A small arrow made from pure darkness charged ahead of Roy who barely countered and wore a shocked expression. "How can you instantaneously cast a B grade spell?"
"Do not be shocked young one for what I am using is nothing more than just pure science!"
Roy regained composure and prepared to continue his dance but twenty's hand was already on his stomach. "Third tier, B grade magic, warning strike."
*Bam*
The explosion rang out as the spell which was directly casted on Roy's stomach made contact. Thankfully Roy had an enhanced armor but at the same time he was gravely injured.
*Spurt*
Roy coughed out blood and Twenty looked at him almost mockingly.
"Huh?"
Twenty felt his head lost so he turned to look back where he saw nothing. 'Was that just my imagination?' But as if proving him wrong the feeling came again and he moved quickly away from Roy.
"You are very strong and probably half step into the emperor stage but as long as you are below the emperor stage I promise you can never grow to surpass me."
Roy said as he retook his sword and moved in a rapid speed towards Twenty and executing the last dance. Since this was incredibly powerful it made his aura turn into a red seeping flame.
Twenty used his barrier but like it was butter Roy cut through it and slashed him on the chest.
Twenty could barely stand as he looked at Roy's lone figure. That is when Twenty took out one more syringe which he quickly stabbed himself with.
"This mission was simply an assassination of the princess, and my duty was just observation. Never did I expect to meet someone as strong as you. Be joyous as you will be the first person to witness my perfect evolution."
There was a short moment of silence as everyone waited to see the syringe's effects. Twenty got to his knees and began crying pain as his bones began audibly cracking.
Next was him turning in to a beast even more unsightly than an oak. No matter one perceived this, it was obvious that Twenty had turned in to a monster just for the sake of power.
Roy fully understood that the beast in front of him was now many times stronger than himself and beyond king level.
A cold breeze went up Roy's spine as he feared greatly knowing that this was beyond his reach and abilities.
The arm of the beast was immediately sliced of and Roy looked at this with a pleasant smile. The owner of the blade that had cut right through the beast's arm was revealed to be Wendy and behind was the rest of the party.
Each of them were well renowned emperors primarily the reason why Roy was in relief.
"What the hell is this?" asked Kylee who was completely disgusted by the beast. Wendy as the party's main attacker so it fit to dispatch it by herself but was stopped by Ryan.
"This thing seems to get stronger every second. So I think it would be best if I just burned it right now before it becomes too strong."
Just as Ryan prepared to burn the beast formally known as twenty beside him appeared a small portal and two figures came out.
Although their faces remained hidden it was obvious that they were a man and woman.
"Please give us back our number, he might prove to be a special research subject."
The man said but before any confirmation was heard the girl had already moved to carry the beast.
'When did she?' Wendy thought as she prepared to attack the girl who teleported beside the man before she was reached.
The man revealed the back of his cloak that had an insignia of an eye which was vertically sliced in half by a blood red sword.
The final remarks the man said before going back through the portal were "this mission went out very unexpectedly and even more I found out that there is a pure breed of the Saphire noble clan among these first years. But what I certainly have to look into is why a powerful party such as yourself currently in a C rank field."
These words where ones that needed proper and careful consideration as no one could have expected to meet such a mysterious person there who might probably be the cause of this issue.
Thanks to this the field ended and the professors arrived and escorted the students back to the school.
