"What is this?" I eyed the table with a frown as Edward beamed as he pulled a chair back for me.
"It's breakfast," he shook his hands as if it had appeared by pure magic. "I asked the guards to get us breakfast from town. I think we're tired of oatmeal, bacon and a fruit salad every morning."
"Well it's what I prefer," I folded my arms over my chest as I eyed the elaborate display of egg Benedict, croissants, scones with different cheeses and jams. The smell of coffee was strong in the air and my inner caffeine addict rejoiced at proper coffee instead of instant.
There was a small vase with flowers and I would have accepted the breakfast if it wasn't for them. This was romantic. Not a normal breakfast between two captains and if I allowed this to happen then I'd be opening up an invitation to him.
It could never happen.
"Don't lie," he rolled his eyes, "come on we've been eating grub the entire week. Let's have normal food."
