I didn't know who the tiny woman next to Edward was but I didn't miss the fact she had subtly whispered to him 'he's hot'. There was a mix of feeling flattered but also slight bafflement because clearly he must have mentioned something to her.
There was not a time I had remembered we had discussed whether he could tell anyone or not. I would have preferred it if he didn't tell anyone at all. It was really no one's business that I slept with men and I hated the looks I would get when they knew.
Everyone already thought they could summarize you when they knew you were queer and I for one, hated being shoved into one specific category.
