Sirzechs let out a deep sigh, rubbing his temple as he leaned back in his chair. "That's just it. I want you to come to the party and fight for Rias. Win her back. Defeat Riser." His crimson eyes locked onto me, gauging my reaction.
I smirked, leaning forward with my arms crossed. "Sounds fun."
Sirzechs raised an eyebrow. "It won't be easy."
I shrugged, my smirk widening. "And? I don't care."
A brief silence settled between us before he sighed again, this time with a slight smile. "I've also heard rumors that you might not be fully human."
I tilted my head slightly. "You heard right. But I'm not ready to share what I am just yet."
Sirzechs studied me for a moment before nodding in understanding. "I can respect that. However, if you do win against Riser… what is it that you want in return?"
I grinned, leaning back in my chair. "Two things. First, Rias's freedom. She should be able to choose her own future, not be forced into marriage for political gain."
He nodded, unsurprised. "And the second?"
"I want my own weapons shop. A place where I can craft and sell my goods."
Sirzechs blinked, visibly intrigued. "You make your own weapons?"
I chuckled. "Not just any weapons. Here, let me show you."
I glanced around. "But first, I need a strong barrier. If the wrong people sense what I'm about to reveal, we'll have trouble."
With a flick of his wrist, a powerful magical barrier enveloped the room, ensuring complete privacy. "It's done. Show me."
Reaching into my inventory, I pulled out Corrupted Rose and placed it on the table before him. The moment his eyes landed on the blade, they widened in sheer disbelief.
"It can't be…" he murmured, his voice laced with shock.
I smirked. "I forged this myself. I call her Corrupted Rose."
"May I?" he asked, his voice almost reverent.
I nodded, allowing him to take the sword. The moment he grasped it, a dark red aura pulsed around the blade, as if responding to his presence.
"Incredible…" he whispered, carefully examining the weapon. "And you want to sell weapons of this caliber?"
"Yes and no," I corrected, resting a hand on the table. "I would only sell weapons like this to people I trust. People I know won't misuse them. Friends. Family. My girlfriend. Do you understand?"
Sirzechs smiled at that, nodding in approval. "That's a wise mindset."
I smirked. "Oh, and there's a counterpart."
His eyes widened further. "You don't mean—"
I reached into my inventory once more and pulled out Holy Avenger, placing it next to Corrupted Rose. The contrast between the two swords was striking—one radiating a dark crimson aura, the other glowing with a divine golden light.
Sirzechs was speechless for a moment before he finally found his words. "A living person who can create these masterpieces… Shiro, you are truly incredible." His expression turned serious. "But I must ask—are you our ally?"
I chuckled, leaning back. "Is Koneko a Neko?"
He looked surprised for a second before chuckling himself. "Yes."
"Then there's your answer."
Sirzechs let out a relieved sigh. "I'm glad to hear that."
I stored the swords back into my inventory.
Sirzechs steepled his fingers, deep in thought. "You have an incredible talent. But if I do agree to help you open your shop, what kind of weapons would you be selling?"
I grinned, reaching into my inventory once again. This time, I pulled out a sleek, modified bow and handed it to him.
Observe.
[Weapon: Dragonbone Arc]
Class: S
Description: A bow crafted with the bones of a dragon, enhanced with magic. Capable of channeling the user's magical power into arrows. Increases ranged attack potency by 50%.
Sirzechs examined the bow with admiration. "You sure are full of surprises," he murmured, testing its weight.
"Thanks," I said with a grin. "But that's not all."
One by one, I pulled out my crafted gear—a pair of dragon-scaled gauntlets, another Vampiric Slayer sword, enchanted rings, and an assortment of potions I had brewed. I placed them all on the table before him.
I leaned back in my chair with a confident smirk, crossing my arms as I looked at Sirzechs. "I know, I'm awesome."
Sirzechs chuckled, shaking his head in amusement. "Hmm, well, this is the kind of stuff you'd like to sell?" he asked, gesturing to the collection of weapons, potions, and enchanted jewelry spread across the table.
I nodded. "Yep. Of course, I'll also be selling more basic weapons—not as high quality as these, but still durable and reliable."
Sirzechs stroked his chin in thought. "I see. That sounds reasonable. Now, do you want your shop to cater only to devils, or do you have something broader in mind?"
I leaned forward, my expression turning serious. "I want anyone who knows about the supernatural to be able to come to my shop. I want to be recognized for my craft, not just my strength. Every weapon, potion, and piece of jewelry I create—it's like a part of me. I feel like this is what I was meant to do. I want everyone who needs a weapon to have access to one they can trust."
Sirzechs smiled at that, nodding approvingly. "I respect that. In that case, I'll make sure the other factions are informed about you."
I grinned. "Thanks. That'll help a lot."
With a flick of his wrist, Sirzechs lowered the barrier around the room, allowing magic to flow freely again.
"There's one more thing I'd like," I added, looking him straight in the eyes.
Sirzechs raised an eyebrow. "And what would that be?"
"I want my own Evil Pieces."
For a moment, the room was silent. Then, Sirzechs smiled. "That's actually quite simple to arrange… if you win, of course."
I smirked. "I literally ax-kicked Riser while only using twenty-five percent of my power. I think I've got this."
Sirzechs chuckled but held up a hand in warning. "Still, let's not get ahead of ourselves. We must wait and see how the match unfolds."
I nodded. "Agreed."
