Chapter 33 - CH 33: Birth of the Abomination

In a secret military facility, Emil Blonsky walked with confident strides, his hand gripping Betty Ross's arm, whom he forced to come with him. Betty's gaze was full of hatred, but she could do little. They stopped in front of a massive steel door guarded by two heavily armed soldiers. Behind that door was Bruce Banner, currently heavily sedated, held within a super-thick metal cell.

Blonsky gave the guards a cold smile, trying the same manipulative tactic as before. "I have direct orders from General Ross. Open the door right now," he said firmly, as if his authority was unquestionable.

However, the two guards were unfazed. One of them, a woman with a stern expression, stared at him sharply and said, "Sorry, Mr. Blonsky, but we haven't received such orders. Without verification code from the General, you cannot enter."

Blonsky's face hardened. He tried to approach them, speaking in a lower, threatening tone, "Listen, this is an emergency situation. You don't want to regret obstructing an important duty, do you?"

The other guard, a large man, simply raised an eyebrow. "Our duty is to guard this door. If you don't have official clearance, you'd better leave now."

Blonsky clenched his fists. "Alright," he said coldly. Without warning, he delivered a swift punch towards the male guard, breaking his nose in a single strike. The female guard immediately raised her weapon, but Blonsky agilely dodged and kicked the rifle out of her hands. In seconds, he managed to incapacitate both guards with a deadly combination of punches and kicks.

Betty watched all this in horror. "You're completely insane," she said, her voice trembling.

Blonsky looked at her with a triumphant gaze. "Insane? No, Betty. I just know what needs to be done to get results."

However, when he faced the thick metal cell holding Banner, Blonsky realized something disappointing. His punches and kicks couldn't even dent the cell wall. He tried several times, but the metal remained unmoved.

With frustration, Blonsky cursed loudly. He looked up at the ceiling, where a security seal was located that could only be opened with professional equipment. There was no way to do it himself. He growled angrily, then turned back to Betty.

"Alright," he said, pulling a pistol from his hip and aiming the barrel at Betty's head. "Wake him up and let him out to fight me!" he screamed hysterically.

Betty looked at him in fear, but she also noticed something strange. Blonsky's mouth was trembling, and he kept muttering words like a mantra. "I am the strongest. No one can defeat me. I am the best soldier."

Betty silently cursed her father in her heart. "My father is truly foolish for hiring this madman," she thought. But right now, there was no other choice. She had to do something. If she were allowed to scream, she would scream as loud as possible.

With firm resolve, Betty slapped the cell wall twice with her hand, even though it hurt. She screamed with all her might, "BRUCE! BRUCE, WAKE UP! I'M HERE!"

Facts prove that research on the human brain is correct. When emotions reach their limit, they often peak to the highest or lowest points. In Hulk's case, the accumulated anger never truly disappeared. The sedatives flowing through Banner's blood only suppressed his anger temporarily.

But when Betty screamed, something within the Hulk responded. Betty's voice pierced through the thick layer of sedatives, shaking his sleeping consciousness. The sedatives began to lose their effect. Anger, like a suppressed volcano, started to boil and erupt.

"BOOM!" With one powerful blow, the Hulk slammed against his cell wall. The entire room shook. Blonsky was startled but remained standing, although his legs trembled slightly. The Hulk struck again, and again, until finally one of the metal walls cracked and shattered into pieces.

With an angry roar, the Hulk leaped out of his cell. His green eyes glowed with deadly intensity. He saw Betty being held at gunpoint, and his rage reached its peak.

"ROAR!" The Hulk bellowed, his voice shaking the entire facility. With one large step, he advanced towards Blonsky.

Blonsky, previously full of confidence, now looked uneasy. He fired at the Hulk, but the bullets merely bounced off his thick skin. "Stop, idiot! I order you to stop!" he yelled, trying to maintain his courage.

When his last bullet was spent, Blonsky threw his pistol aside and leaped with a powerful kick towards the Hulk's head. But the Hulk merely countered with a single punch, without much effort, swatting Blonsky away like a fly shooed from food.

"BANG!" Blonsky's body was thrown against the wall with a loud crash, then fell to the floor, motionless. Betty covered her mouth with both hands, shocked at how easily the Hulk defeated Blonsky.

The Hulk approached Betty, but despite being filled with rage, he still didn't want to hurt her. With a low growl, he turned and leaped out of the facility, destroying another wall in the process.

Betty watched him leave with mixed feelings of relief and anxiety. She didn't realize that in the corner of the room, Blonsky's body began to move slowly. With great effort, Blonsky got up. His face was covered in wounds, but there was a faint smile on his lips.

He reached into his uniform pocket and pulled out a small tube containing green blood. It was the Hulk's blood, which he had obtained under General Ross's orders. Blonsky stared at the tube with determination.

"If I can't beat him like this," he muttered, "then I will become like him."

With trembling hands, Blonsky filled a syringe with the blood and injected it into his neck. The effects were immediate. His body felt like it was burning from the inside, but his wounds healed rapidly. His skin turned yellow, and his muscles began to swell uncontrollably.

He screamed in agony as his body transformed. His spine elongated and protruded outwards, piercing through his skin. His uniform ripped, and his body grew into a giant two and a half meters tall.

When the transformation was complete, Blonsky stood before a shattered mirror on the wall. He looked at his reflection with a terrifying smile. There was no more Emil Blonsky. All that remained was the Abomination.

With a ferocious roar, the Abomination ran out, chasing after the Hulk. Chaos had just begun.
