"Ten points to Gryffindor." He teased, smirking handsomely. His hands couldn't go up, so they went down from her waist, feeling the side of her hips. There was so much to grip. She almost jumped when he gave a soft squeeze.
"Lily, knowing the future doesn't mean you can change everything. The more people who know, the less certain it all becomes. If I'd told you, your instincts would've told you to stop Harry, no matter what. And while I understand that, it would've left me unsure of what would happen next. I made sure Fleur could handle the Merpeople and save her sister. I made sure Harry was ready to save you."
Lily never stopped frowning. "So you knew the future!"
Dudley shook his head. "I knew what was certain. This is Harry's fate—you can't stop it, only nudge it a bit while it carries on. That's why I asked you to leave me out of it. Thought I'd be better off on the sidelines… Didn't do much good, though. Vernon still died."
Lily's eyes softened at last. In a surprise move, she sat straighter and pressed her swells harder on his chest. Her legs clamped harder around him, squeezing him into her loins. One of her hands moved and traced the line of buttons on his shirt, teasing his chest.
"Then… is there anything else that you can share? I'm restless… I can't function like this. Something… Anything, Dudley. I—" She gulped, her heart pumping like a racehorse. "I'll do anything!"
"Anything?" Dudley smiled and pinched her chin between his fingers softly. He raised her face a little and closed in on her lips with his own, leaving mere inches in between. "Are you sure?"
Lily's jaw tightened as she nodded.
"Hm…"
Dudley hummed, let out a warm sigh, and pecked on her left cheek, so close to her mouth that it was almost on the edge of her warm lips, that it couldn't be anything but a sexual action.
"Respectable." He muttered and stepped away from her, shifting back from her legs. The middle of her panties showed a visible, faint streak of wetness. The arousal was there. But sadly, the mind wasn't. "Look what you did to me."
He jokingly pointed at his aching erection. Only this time, he fixed it and slanted his cock downward against his leg.
"Look, Lily, I'd be lying if I said it's easy to hold back. Any other bloke might've just pounced on you. You're fucking gorgeous. And I'm not thick in the head—I know what you're doing. And trust me, I'd love to, but…" He grabbed the coffee again. "Not unless you really want it. Properly. Wanting it as much as I do."
In a few gulps, he finished drinking the coffee.
"Take this chance to think this through, yeah? Because if you tease me like this again, I can't promise I'll be able to hold back. Do it once more, and I'll take that as you really mean it." He declared and placed the coffee mug down.
"And for the last time. You don't need to do any sexual favors to get my help. I've got my own reasons for keeping a bit of distance, for not sharing everything. Just remember—predictions aren't much use if everyone knows them."
Lily nodded and stood back on her feet. She patted down her short nightdress, embarrassment written on her face. Also, a little relief. She'd convinced herself that she had to do this. Something she never imagined ever doing.
"Thank you for understanding me."
"I'll take that, Lily." Dudley cleared his throat as he turned to leave. "You look… well, really stunning in that nightdress. Took all my focus not to do something stupid."
That made the poor woman even more embarrassed. But she nodded, taking that compliment. She didn't even expect him to find her attractive. Now, well, she felt it first hand, right between her legs.
As Dudley walked towards the exit, Lily followed behind.
He paused at the door, turning to glance at her. "The only thing I can really tell you is that the Dark Marks have begun to burn. And you know what that means."
Lily looked up at his face in that dim light. She knew exactly what that meant. The Dark Lord was back. Growing stronger.
"I'll tell you more when the time's right. Just trust me—Harry's safe, and he always will be."
It's his goddamn story, after all. While I'm the fucking cannon fodder.
"Thank you." Lily grabbed his hand and squeezed it between her palms. "I was wrong about you. I thought…"
"I'm evil?" He interrupted, chuckling. "You know more than anyone, Lily. I'm not what I look like."
She stepped closer to him. "Can I… know your name?"
"Dudley Dursley."
"Not that one."
Dudley sighed, having almost forgotten all those past details. But from whatever he could see, Lily seemed really interested. "What does it matter now?"
"Because you're not this…" She gestured at his body. "I want to know you. The real you."
"I am the real me." He replied and, without asking, pulled Lily into a tight hug against his chest. It was impossible to hold back after constantly being teased like that. Feeling her soft swells squeeze into his chest, he wrapped both arms around her back and nestled his face close to her ear. "I hope you don't mind… Not that easy looking at you in that dress."
After a short moment, Lily hugged him back.
Still whispering into her ear, he muttered softly. "Ethan Kennedy—Alright, I got work tomorrow. Good night."
With no hesitation and pauses this time, Dudley pulled away from her and left through the door faster than she could respond.
Thump!
In a daze, Lily saw him leave and the door closing in front of her face. She digested his last sentence, the first two words. Undoubtedly, this was the first interaction of such intimate closeness for her in more than a decade.
It left her in a blushing mess.
"Ethan Kennedy… handsome name."

Malfoy Manor,
"Father, that disgusting Mudblood still dares to mock you at school! I tried to put him in his place, but he keeps sneering your name at me!"
"And that is my fault?" Lucius sneered, looking up at his son across the dining table from him. "Do enlighten me—must I now bear the burden of your incompetence too?"
Draco gulped, a little scared. But the cub had tasted blood at the World Cup. The world didn't know, but he knew. He knew how Dudley's father died.
"I-I didn't mean that… I heard something in the school. He's… He's going to America next week. Something about a bank or whatever… That's all I know! I just thought you might care since you threw your money at his bank. Not that I see why you'd bother—"
Draco felt his mother kick his shin. He quickly shut his mouth at that hint. Speaking too much was one of his bad habits. It always got him in trouble.
"Hmm… It's useful, I'll give you that. Good work, Draco. It seems your Mudblood friend is eager to rush into his pathetic banking adventure." Lucius smirked, wiping his mouth with a disdainful flick of the cloth. He glared at Narcissa beside him before standing.
"I have more important matters to attend to. That mudblood imbecile won't ruin himself without my... guidance."
Once Lucius was gone, Narcissa exhaled softly, brushing a stray lock of hair from her face. Her gaze fell on Draco, and her chest tightened. "You shouldn't have done that. I've seen it, Draco. The more you entangle yourself with that muggleborn, the more complicated things become. Such petty things are beneath you."
"I know exactly what I'm doing, Mother, and honestly, it's exhilarating," Draco said and smugly bit into a piece of sausage. "I can't wait to see his face when he loses everything. He's far too proud for his own good. Father will put him in his place, of course."
"You must be careful, Draco," Narcissa warned him and stood up.
She simply couldn't help it. A chill crept under her skin, an unease she couldn't shake. Her husband was fighting a mere Hogwarts student—it was unthinkable. Perhaps it was a mother's intuition, but she knew…
Something terrible is coming for my family.
