( Outside Siri's mom's Office )":
....Thakorn looked uncomfortable as his mother pushed him closer to Siri. "Mom, really?" he muttered, his face turning slightly red.
Siri smiled warmly at Thakorn. "Oh, Nice to meet you, P'Thakorn."
Flustered Thakorn managed a smile back, still looking a bit shell-shocked.
Khun Araya beamed with a hopeful smile,"I have to admit been lovely getting to know you, Siri." Her voice fuilled with sincerity
" Oh, The pleasure is mine " Siri replies with a warm smile,
" I was thinking... perhaps we could get to know each other better in a more relaxed setting?" Khun Araya continues calmly,
Siri's eyes met Thakorn's briefly, and she seemed to sense his mortification. "Oh really?"
Khun Araya's face lit up. "Yes! How about you come over for dinner at our house next Saturday.." she calmly continues" We'll have a nice family dinner, and get to know each other . What do you say?" Her voice fuilled with sincerity and excitement,
Siri calmly looks at the flustered Thakorn and then to her mom who gave her a gentle nod
" Yes, I would love..." Siri politely replies but got interrupted by Yot before she could finish ,
Yot's face scrunched up in a pout. "...Hey, what about me? " He continues " Have you forgotten about me ?" he asked, his voice whiny and attention-seeking.
Khun Araya chuckled and playfully teased him. "Oh, of course not, how can I forget someone as cute Yot "
Thakorn nodded in agreement, though his eyes kept drifting back to Siri. Yot's pout softened slightly, but he still looked a bit sulky.
"Then why didn't I get any compliments " Yot continues to sulk
" Oh my, what's that smell.." Siri continue " ..is that jealousy" Siri teased the sulking Yot
" No,I'm not jealous " the still sulking Yot insisted, making everyone smile at his cuteness
Khun Som smiled warmly at Khun Araya and Thakorn. "That's not fair , Yot's been doing wonderfully in school... " she continues " ...He recently won an award in a mathematics competition " she continues to brag about Yot's recent achievement, making the sulking Yot feel better,
" My son is pretty amazing, isn't he?" Khun Som continues while gently pating Yot's head,
Khun Araya's eyes lit up with interest. "Oh really, that's fantastic! Congratulations, Yot. You must be very proud of yourself."
Yot's face glowed with pride as his mom talked about his achievement. He felt happy and proud, knowing that his mom believed in him.
Thakorn nodded in admiration. "That's impressive. Math can be challenging, but it sounds like you're really good at it."
Siri smiled, happy to see her brother being praised. "Yeah, Yot's always been good with numbers."
" Yes, I'm a math superstar!" Proud Yot childishly replies, making everyone smile
Just then, a bodyguard came out from the elevator and approached Khun Araya in an hurry, he then whispered something in her ear, making Khun Araya's expression turned serious, she then nodded and turn to face Siri's mom,
"Unfortunately Something unexpected has come up, would it be possible to reschedule?" Khun Araya politely asked Khun Som,
"Okay, that's understandable" she continues
" Let me check my schedule. I'll have my assistant get in touch to arrange a new time," Khun Som calmly replied.
"That's great,.. and Siri would next Sunday work for you ?" Khun Araya gently asked,
Siri nodded, a bit surprised by the sudden change in plans. "Of course, Khun Araya. Next Sunday works for me."
Thakorn looked relieved and happy, clearly pleased that his mom seemed to like Siri. He had felt the same way, and it was a weight off his shoulders. "Would it be okay if I pick you up on Saturday?" he said, his tone warm and friendly.
"That would be great, thanks," Siri replied calmly.
"Wonderful that's settled...I'll have Thakorn pick you up at 10 am. Until then, take care." Khun Araya smiled, her expression still serious from whatever the bodyguard had told her,
Khun Araya extended her hands, her smile gracious, "It was a pleasure meeting you, Khun Som . I apologize for the abrupt end to our meeting."
The Khun Som shook her hands firmly "No need to apologize, I will keep in touch " her voice calm,
" Nice to meet you Khun Som, Have a great day " Thakorn politely bows as he says goodbye to Khun Som who calmly nods in reply,
Yot and Siri bid farewell, Yot's enthusiastic wave and cheerful tone mirroring Siri's polite gesture, With a gracious nod, Khun Araya took her leave along with the bodyguard, by her side.
With that Thakorn followed suit, offering Siri a polite bow before escorting his mother out. Siri watched them go, wondering what had caused the sudden interruption....
