Cedric did not stand idle for long. After saying farewell to the eager soldier, he jumped on top of the Cathedral, making sure to observe the City of Valar.
It would take a long time, but by using [God's Eye] he would find The Bishop.
It was inevitable, nothing can hide from God's Chosen.
The Bishop may run, he may desperately claw at the opportunity to hide, but it was over.
He was no infidel or even a human.
He was a mockery of all that was Christian.
Cedric would find him, even if it took him a week.
He closed his eyes as he let himself speak to God once again.
'Almighty Lord, I heard your word. Foul creature calling itself 'The Bishop' shall be treated as a demon, his actions have assured of it. Lord, may you guide me in the quest to punish those who betrayed your will. Amen.'
With a sigh, he opened his eye before using [God's Eye].
While normally it would be terribly inefficient to try and find an individual in a city of many tens of thousands, he had to do it.
Each second that the Bishop drew breath was akin to spitting on Cedric's face.
No, even worse, it was spitting at the face of God.
However, just as he was about to commit to searching through every single soul in the city, he saw a group of Paladins approach, and in the middle of the formation, a hooded man.
[God's Eye]

Cedric's eyes widened, 'A paladin even more powerful than Skama' his eyes turned to the second.

While the majority of the escorting Paladins were nothing special, they were still far above any other Paladins he had seen before.
"Two of them are above level 90... That is surprising." Cedric grinned.
It did not matter, these Paladins would die.
His eyes then locked onto the hooded individual.
His instincts told him who that man... no demon was.
However, he had to confirm it using [God's Eye].

Cedric clenched his fist.
The bishop was an incredibly powerful individual.
Not as strong as Avaros was after Chrunus dared grant him power, but despite his lower class, he had even more skills than the apostle.
'So he is a caster...' Cedric nodded as his fingers wrapped around Equilibrium's hilt.
He would be cast into hell.
"Thank you, God, for bringing me such a heinous demon. You truly are merciful, I swear that I shall return him to hell where he belongs, for he is a filth masquerading as human. Amen." With a quick prayer, he dashed towards the Bishop.

Man only known as The Bishop strode towards the Cathedral with his most loyal Paladins guarding him, except Walter, who had been ordered to guard the prisoners.
While Chrunus had blessed him with immense power that was enough to eclipse any of the Paladins serving him, it was still nowhere near what Cardinals were capable of.
As such a powerful servant of Chrunus, he had no need for protection, but appearances were important, so they were required to act as guardians.
One of the heretics that were captured was apparently the Master of Death Fist Art.
He had hoped that dangerous art was extinct, but despite being considered extinct ever since the purge of heresy of Natura, it still showed itself by killing many of his Paladins.
'That old woman will be a fine sacrifice for Chrunus.' The Bishop nodded.
He would be the person who would sacrifice such a heretic.
But no matter how much he thought about heretics, he couldn't get a sense of worry out of his skull.
The Bishop's hands clasped together, 'Chrunus, may you grant me the vision and wisdom to eradicate these heresies that stand against you.'
The cathedral was in sight, soon they would arrive, and the Death Fist master would be brought to the altar, and soon after, the Apostate Queen would join her.
They both would be sent to Chrunus to be judged.
However, just as the party was about to approach the cathedral, he sensed something approaching.
Before he could even react, every Paladin around him was split in half and disintegrated.
All he could see was a flash of silver.
His eyes widened in shock as he found himself face to face with an armored monster.
He knew who this was, this was the monster that backed the heresy of the cross.
The Bishop knew that it was powerful, but to eradicate his escort without him even seeing him move.
"I advise you to stop," he demanded, while it was terrifying that he was able to kill everyone around him so effortlessly, it didn't mean that this mere Paladin was more powerful than he was.
After all, he was one of the most powerful champions under Chrunus.
Swish
The Paladin never deigned to answer him, instead, he found the world spinning as his head was detached from his body.
The Bishop never had a chance to even learn the name of his killer.
In addition, Chrunus himself had lost another powerful soldier.
The end of his false church was fast approaching.
