The students stepped cautiously into the grand main hall of the rift, their footsteps echoing through the vast and shadowy space. The place was enormous, lit only by natural crystals embedded in the walls, casting a pale and uneven glow.
It wasn't their first time visiting that place, yet the absence of people made the environment feel much more threatening. It was hard to shake the feeling that something was wrong.
Then, as if to confirm the students' fears, the sudden sound of clanking armor rang out around them.
Within seconds, a group of warriors emerged from the shadows, forming a perfect circle around them. Their matching armor, adorned with the golden emblem of Enki's police force, gleamed under the dim light.
They held their weapons firmly, their posture rigid and disciplined, making it clear they were ready for any threat.
