I was named after my aunt, who died very young. My mother named us after 3 of her family members she never got to know, all of whom were killed by Alpha Bret, who apparently was at one point obsessed with a prophecy that made him think taking my mother as his mate would give him superpowers.
If they knew of the prophecy I uncovered about the triplets— we would never be allowed to leave the house. We already have targets painted on us, being blessed by the Moon Goddess and all. But if they knew of the prophecy? The one that I discovered on a piece of paper so old it almost crumpled when I picked it up stuck inside an old book of poems in the pack archives.
That "three will rise, one world will thrive as the other dies." Sounds pretty ominous. It went on to say "of the three, one will be sent by love back home to me." What the hell was that supposed to mean? Who wrote the prophecy? Ugh. I wish I had never found the damn thing.
