Chapter 28 - Authorities[I]

Adam Victory's Authorities:

All Campiones have Authorities based on their personalities, like Alec with his [Thief] theme or John Pluto Smith with his [Superhero] theme.

It's not clear during the story what Adam's theme is, but it seems to be [Tyrant] due to his selfish personality that only cares about himself and his desire to crush his enemies.

Adam has a total of fifty-eight Authorities, including those usurped from Voban, John, Aisha, Doni, and Alec.

Authorities of Lugh (Lord of Light):

The so-called [Lord of Light] is the set of Authorities Adam obtained from one of the first Heretic Gods he killed, the Celtic God Lugh.

Master of a Thousand and One Skills: One of the Authorities usurped from the Heretic God Lugh, derived from his multifaceted aspects. It is the pinnacle of learning and adaptation. Adam can master any skill in moments, becoming a master in any discipline, whether combat, magic, science, or any other field. If something doesn't exist, he can invent a new technique and master it immediately without practice. If he finds a vulnerability, he can eliminate or overcome that weakness instantly. All his skills are constantly evolving, becoming more efficient and refined as they are used.

No Incantation

Primordial Light: One of the Authorities usurped from the Heretic God Lugh, known as the God of Light, derived from this aspect. This Authority allowed him to create, manipulate, and shape light in its primal state, representing the dawn of creation, the most primitive, hot, bright, and powerful aspect of creation's light. Limited to daytime, its strongest state was at sunrise, where he could create light weapons capable of rivaling Divine Weapons and wounding Heretic Gods. By the end of the day, his light creations were weak enough for a Great Knight to destroy or remain unharmed.

Later, he removed this weakness by focusing on using more magical energy to shape the light, making it extremely powerful during the day but at the cost of much greater magical energy, something he could sustain.

It also gave him a passive [Charm] effect, almost unmatched, granting him innate confidence to the point of acting like a true King without ever having been one. It also grants Adam persuasive speech, capable of making the greatest lies seem as real as the Sun, or convincing people to do the most absurd things, give up, act against their own person or morals, among many other effects, though the effectiveness depends on his training level, the opponent's intelligence, and other factors. If he tries to anger them, it will provoke the purest hatred and the most violent fury; if he tries to persuade or charm, his words will be sweet as honey, enchanting, magnificent, and everyone will look at him with the deepest love.

No Incantation.

Shining Sun Chariot: Another Authority obtained from the Heretic God Lugh, derived from the aspect of the Sun and its Greek counterpart, Apollo, embodied in a vehicle he can summon at any time. In appearance, the Shining Chariot is a large golden Greek war chariot, big enough to carry about three people, pulled by two large golden stallions with silver hooves and manes. Both the vehicle and the steeds shine with their own light and radiate an aura of splendor.

The vehicle can move at great speed, is highly resistant to damage, and can fly, producing an elemental medium over which the chariot and horses can run. However, instead of being attuned to rays, this Authority is aligned with fire, heat, and light. The chariot, all its occupants, and the divine beasts pulling it are surrounded by an aura of golden flames that do not harm them but automatically inflict severe burn damage to any hostile that comes into contact with it. Any flames ignited by this Authority are particularly difficult to extinguish without bringing more force against them than they contain.

Another ability this Authority possesses is that, if he chooses, he can temporarily sacrifice the heat and fire aspects of the aura to channel all the chariot's power into light. When this is done, the vehicle emits such intense light that unprotected mortals will be temporarily blinded, and even divine enemies will be dazzled, with its speed increasing to something infinitely close to light. It should be noted that this causes him significant mental stress and headaches.

This Authority also has several other abilities not directly related to attack. First, while enveloped in its aura, all wounds heal at an accelerated rate. This level of healing is not on par with true regeneration but will help stop bleeding from wounds and make critical injuries less urgent.

Second, the chariot's solar aura will dissipate any shadow-based magic or Authorities it comes into contact with. This effect does not harm the wielder of those powers; it only provides a defense against them.

Third, during flight, this Authority provides an atmosphere for those traveling in it, meaning that, in theory, the Shining Sun Chariot could be used to leave Earth's atmosphere and ascend into orbit. The exact limits of this ability have not yet been determined.

Incantation:

"O golden sun, O galloping hooves, O chariot, tracing the path of the heavens. Come to me for battle and victory, come to me so that all may fall before the shining glory of the sun."

Longinuslanze Testament: The Spear manifests as a beautiful Golden Spear containing a wide range of abilities.

It is said that this spear will always return to its wielder's hands when thrown and will never miss its target. Its primary power is that when thrown, it will never miss, will always be faster than the opponent, and will always kill with a single blow.

Transcending the very concept of space and distance, crossing even dimensional boundaries. No realm is safe, for there is no place this spear cannot reach. Due to its mythological connection to Gungnir, the Longinus Spear, and other magical spears, this further enhanced the weapon's power. All who look at the spear have their minds and souls destroyed, and all who touch it have their existence slowly disintegrated. Only Adam can hold or look at the spear without being affected.

Merely pointing the spear's tip at enemies can incinerate and vaporize them. A god-slaying spear capable of unleashing a wave of Golden Light of Destruction, as if a light signaled the arrival of a new world. No one can resist the power of such a mighty spear.

A weapon of such caliber must be wielded by an equally great existence. As such, no mere mortal can hope to even touch the spear, lest they invoke divine punishment upon themselves. Only the greatest of lords, with the highest mastery, the soul of a conqueror, and the dignity of a king, can have the authority to wield this Spear.

Incantations:

"O Spear of Destiny, awaken your power,

Let only the chosen wield you.

Burn the wicked, strike down evil,

Tear through time, pierce the astral.

Longinuslanze Testament!"

No Incantation (To summon it, no incantation is needed unless he wishes to use its power)

Lugh's Solar Perdition: Inspired by Lugh's dominion over light and solar destruction, this Authority allows him to emit a blast of pure light capable of disintegrating anything within its range. This solar force can be used as a final blow, destroying the enemy not only physically but also spiritually.

When activated, a luminous sphere appears in the center of the Campione's hands, growing until it reaches the size of a solar fireball. When launched, the sphere unleashes a wave of destructive radiation that incinerates everything in its path.

When directed at a single target, the sphere explodes with the intensity of a sun, pulverizing any resistance, instantly vaporizing the enemy's body. This attack is impossible to dodge or defend against, given its speed and destructive nature. Another application is that by concentrating the energy for longer, he can create a field of solar radiation in a specific area, disintegrating everything around it in a devastating radius.

The limitation is that after releasing the blast, Adam becomes vulnerable, as the solar energy requires significant effort.

[Authorities of Balor (Lord of Evil Eyes)]

This is the set of Authorities obtained by usurping the Celtic God Balor.

Balor's Evil Eyes: This Authority has two partial manifestations. The first allows Adam to use the power of petrification, as Balor's evil eye was similar to the gaze of the Greek Gorgon Medusa and the European monster Basilisk. This allows Adam to turn living creatures into stone, either instantly or gradually. The people are not dead, but the effect takes months to wear off. There is no limit to the number of targets, and this gaze can also see through objects and extend for several kilometers. It cannot turn gods or Campiones into stone but can partially affect them, ideal for temporarily immobilizing or surprising an opponent.

As a God of War and Destruction, Balor was also the God of Death and the Underworld, allowing Adam to perceive the "conceptual death" of everything in the form of "death lines." Cutting these lines results in the death of all beings. Campiones and Gods, due to their high vitality and magical resistance, are resistant to this, not dying immediately but being affected similarly, slowly weakening their life force.

The final form of the Authority can only be manifested after Adam cuts the "Death Lines" to weaken his opponents. It is essentially a guaranteed death attack. While Lugh is the God related to the benefits of the Sun, Balor is related to the scorching sun, the destructive effects of the Sun, firing a beam of absolute death heat with a guaranteed hit effect, reversing the effect from "the beam is fired, and the target dies" to "the target dies because the beam was fired." This means that once fired, it is an impossible-to-dodge blow, causing certain death.

Adam can only manifest the guaranteed hit if he cuts the death lines, effectively marking and weakening the target. If he fires without cutting the lines, the attack will hit everything around indiscriminately. The final form can only be used once per day and must wait for sunrise to recharge.

Incantations:

"O burning sun, master of fatal heat,

Your rays consume, in silence, life,

Absolute death in each celestial glow,

Your fire extinguishes all, leaving the soul lost,

In your reign, there is no end, only the abyssal…"

No Incantation

Eternal Winter: This was the second Authority acquired from Balor. As a Sun God representing drought and pestilence, he shouldn't have an Authority related to winter. But some associations with Ymir, the King of the Ice Giants, and tales of him being the embodiment of winter as the season of drought for the Celts, suggested otherwise—winter was the harshest of droughts.

This Authority creates a delimited field around him, extendable to the width he desires, capable of easily consuming an entire city.

Any area caught in this Delimited Field immediately becomes frozen. Everything transforms into a vast frozen tundra, with overwhelming cold capable of freezing even bones. Only Campiones and Heretic Gods could partially resist the effects, but they would become slower. Any human, mage, witch, Hime-Miko, or Divine Ancestor—any being lesser than a God—would be completely frozen and at his mercy.

The most terrifying effect of this domain is stagnation, capable of freezing the perception of Campiones and Heretic Gods, making them much slower and unable to efficiently circulate magical energy to use their Authorities or spells—though they could still use them, it would take much longer to activate and would be less effective.

Incantations;

"The ice that binds the lands and brings the plague of an endless drought… Freeze.

[Authority of Baldur]

Blessing of Protection: Authority obtained from Baldur, the Norse God of Light. According to the myth, Frigg foresaw her son's death and, to prevent it, made all living and non-living beings swear never to harm him, granting him invulnerability. Only mistletoe did not take the oath, leading to Baldur's death.

This Authority surrounds Adam with golden runes, generating a protective aura. Unlike Steel Gods, Baldur's protection does not turn his body into a walking steel fortress, as Baldur lacks the characteristics of a Steel God.

His Authority works by "rejecting all attacks." The shining aura of the runes nullifies any blow directed at Adam while active. In this state, he does not need to eat, drink, or sleep and can withstand intense blows like the Divine Sword of Salvation, the vacuum of space, resisting nearly all attacks without faltering.

The weakness of this Authority is that it consumes a large amount of magical energy to nullify attacks, making it exhausting to maintain for long periods, but Adam can use Iddun's Authority to absorb magical energy from nature to recover.

Adam can extend the runes from his body, generating a protective dome to shield his allies.

While this Authority is active, Adam also gains divine physical attributes, such as strength, endurance, and reflexes, allowing him to face a God with nothing but his body.

Incantation:

"O mark of divine protection, become my armor."

[Authority of Iddun]

Apples of Immortality: According to legend, Iddun tended and harvested golden apples that granted eternal youth to the Aesir and renewed their strength.

This grants the ability to revitalize the life force of others, allowing Adam to heal wounds, dispel certain curses, and banish exhaustion. However, to use this Authority, he must first "cultivate" the apple he wishes to use within himself before using the magical words of this power. One of the most interesting aspects of this power is that it can be used to revitalize the exhausted Authorities of others. Each apple does not need to be used on a single target; they can be focused if Adam chooses, or he can eat them himself, but otherwise, they simply radiate their energy in all directions so that everyone present is affected.

The amount of time it takes to "grow" the apple is proportional to the level of vitality he wishes to restore. For example, if he simply wants to banish fatigue, it requires almost no time, just a few seconds; if he wants to restore an exhausted Authority, it requires several hours of preparation. Once an apple is used, it withers, and Adam must "cultivate" a new one within himself. He also cannot "grow" more than one at a time. Later, he removed this limitation and could grow up to a basket full of apples.

This Authority can also be used to control the flora around him to a certain extent, allowing him to manipulate tree roots for various feats, such as restraining enemies or attacking. The roots can absorb the magical energy of those who come into contact with them, enabling the production of Iddun's Apple without him needing to cultivate it.

If someone dies on solid, fertile ground, this Authority can bring them back to life and heal all wounds.

Incantation:

"Maiden who dwells within the orchard, deceived and stolen, transformed and returned. The blessing even the Gods crave is mine to have, mine to grant, mine to use."

[Authority of Perun]

Serpent Hunter: In his legend, Perun often fought and pursued the god Veles, who took the form of a dragon/serpent.

He would hurl lightning at the dragon even when it was disguised as a tree, stone, or even another person. This Authority is based on this legend.

When facing an opponent tied to dragons or earth serpents, Adam experiences an increase in all parameters by applying the characteristics of [Dragon-Slaying Steel] to his attacks. It also allows him to instinctively know the general location of his opponent and renders illusions ineffective against him. It can only be activated when fighting or "hunting" dragons, earth serpents, or beings with significant ties to them.

Incantation:

"I seek to end the cursed serpent, through sky, sea, and land, it cannot escape nor hide from my wrath!"

Rising Storm: Perun was a storm god who wielded lightning and brought fertile rain to the lands. This Authority grants Adam the ability to generate a localized storm that he can control, similar to the one used by Voban. The storm can unleash great deluges of rain, powerful winds, and devastating lightning strikes. The weather does not affect him in any way, and he can see and move through heavy downpours and winds without being bothered.

Adam can fly amidst storms and absorb lightning while shaping it into a bow and arrow capable of firing devastating lightning arrows.

This Authority also allows the use of Perun's Golden Apples, one of his most ancient symbols. The Golden Apples are nothing more than spherical lightning, but not just any lightning. At the heart of the electric orb is a micro-singularity, the energy source that prevents the ball from violently dispersing. Any opponent directly hit by this will be destroyed by the highly compressed lightning or shattered when the singularity strikes their body.

During the fight against Rama in a parallel universe, by fusing three Golden Apples at once, it was powerful enough to destroy Rama's [Platinum Star], though at the cost of a massive amount of his power and being unable to use his Authority for some time.

Incantation:

"Clouds form and darken, gather wind and rain, my lightning shall split the skies, my thunder shall shake the earth, tremble in awe and terror before my power and fury, for my uncontrollable storm approaches!"

"As I hold the golden apple and toss it high into the sky, lightning shall burst from the heavens, no eyewitness shall remain, not even to tell how they died."

[Authority of Durinn and Motsognir]

Dwarven Forge: This is the Authority obtained from Durinn and Motsognir, the creators of wonders, the first two dwarves in Norse mythology, a race famous for being unparalleled smiths and craftsmen who forged Mjolnir, Gungnir, Laevatein, Tyrfing, Draupnir, and more.

This Authority has two capabilities. The first is the ability to forge his own weapons or items, possessing the knowledge of how to create them and the ability to imbue runes with desired effects, granting them powers equal to those of legends and myths. He could also analyze any weapon or item without exception with just a casual glance, including divine armaments or items. There was nothing in this regard that he couldn't analyze, and then this Authority creates a [Blueprint] to reforge such a thing…

If it's something he invented himself, it creates a [Blueprint] to forge, making it possible to create anything he desires…

The [Blueprints], as he called them, were etched in his mind.

This was the limitation of his Authority; he couldn't create items out of thin air by snapping his fingers. It required significant effort and the correct ingredients, such as owl teeth or the footsteps of a cat, to forge something akin to the legends he knew. Fortunately, the [Dwarven Forge] also showed him the path to obtain the ingredients and gave him the ability to acquire them in virtually any world. There were no limitations…

The second aspect is the ability to summon all items and weapons forged by the dwarves in Norse mythology, granting a massive arsenal at his disposal, ranging from Thor's Mjolnir, Frey's magical ship, Freya's golden Brisingamen necklace, and many others. From training with this Authority, he learned that the items and weapons were stored in a kind of dimensional storage he called [Inventory], as he could also store mundane items in it. Its space was literally infinite.

Incantation:

"I strike while the iron is hot, with the metal of the earth and the fire of the heavens, I forge a new treasure worthy of the Gods themselves!"

[Authority of Rudra]

Rudra's Arrows: Allows him to fire arrows carrying different characteristics, such as wind, water, lightning, and the golden arrow that carries the power of the sun when fired. It can take the appearance of a sword of fire and light. Obtained from the Rigvedic divinity Rudra, who, though associated with wind, storm, and hunting, is also considered a synonym for the Hindu god Shiva, often depicted with three eyes symbolizing the Sun, Moon, and Fire. He apparently needs to shoot or simply throw arrows to unleash its power.

Incantations:

"O arrow of Rudra, grant me the brilliance of the sun's halo!"

"O fire of Rudra, incinerate this land until it turns to ashes!"

[Authority of Odin]

Heitis: The Authority obtained from Odin, one of the strongest and most complex in his arsenal.

Normally, gods are named in one way, and over time, they change form and powers, but Odin, along with many Aesir, had Heitis, synonyms, sacred names that give them a title or meaning. This Authority allows Adam to manifest powers related to Odin's names. In a way, this Authority can take on the capabilities of other Authorities linked to Odin's names.

Despite this, Adam can only manifest some of these Heitis, as Odin has over 200 of them.

Some of these include:

[Fimbulthurl] - Master of all magic, knowledge, and the ability to use all types of magic and understand all magic just by looking at it, even working for Divine Authorities.

[Rúnatýr] - The God of Runes, the name symbolizing Odin as the one who gained knowledge of the Runes, allowing Adam to understand and use any of the Sacred Runes.

[Hrafnass] - Lord of Ravens, the animals, along with wolves, most commonly associated with Odin. In this case, Adam has total dominion over the cunning birds, even able to transform into a flock of divine ravens that could strip a mortal alive in seconds, better than a school of piranhas.

[Valfödhr] - Father of the Fallen, the one who guides death to another realm and can command armies of the undead. He can control and subdue specters and extract secrets from the dead, as they cannot deny his power as a god of death. This grants him the right to call anyone killed by his hands in honorable combat and add them to the armies of the dead that Odin could command during Ragnarok, from those killed in tragedies to the Hjadningar, which serves as Odin's personal war band.

[Reiðartýr] - God of Chariots or God of Knights. Through this Heiti, he could summon a chariot with an interior space the size of a palace that swallowed the baggage he wanted—including living beings—and hid it near him, following wherever he went, essentially hiding in the void or becoming the air around him.

[Fjǫlnir] - Knowledge, simply giving him the ability to understand all phenomena in the world and have all the answers when he sets his eyes on them, even able to know the identity of Heretic Gods with a single glance and the workings of even Divine Authorities. It worked almost the same way as a Hime-Miko who could access the [Memories of the Void] through her [Spiritual Vision], but the mechanism is slightly different. In layman's terms, they access a record of the past, present, and future of everything that occurs in all worlds. This information is stored in the Astral Plane or the Boundary between Life and Immortality, this nomenclature creating a pathway to the information bank they access and filter for answers and information about everything they see in the world.

There are many other names Odin possesses, though Adam needs time and practice to use the capabilities of these other names.

Incantations:

No Incantations

"Chariot without direction, without horses that carries the burden. Come!"

[Authority of Susanoo]

Ame no Murakamo Tsurugi: The Authority obtained from Susanoo came in the form of a divine weapon/Authority/subordinate God. Originating from Susanoo, the God of Steel and Storm. Its powers are intrinsically linked to weather manipulation, storms, and natural forces, but also to adaptation and amplification abilities that make it a formidable and versatile weapon. It has a direct connection to winds and storms, allowing the wielder to manipulate the weather around them.

The sword can enhance the wielder's physical and mental abilities, making them stronger, faster, and more resilient. This enhancement can be compared to the power of a Great Knight, allowing the wielder to perform feats beyond the reach of ordinary warriors, such as extremely fast movements, resistance to damage, and strength surpassing human capabilities.

The blade also has the power to cut or cancel spells, magical powers, and other supernatural effects. This includes not only cutting magic cast directly against the wielder but also the ability to disintegrate magical barriers, curses, and even divine attacks.

But its primary ability is the capacity to copy and manipulate the Authorities of entities around it. This means the blade can mimic the powers of other gods or Campiones, transforming the absorbed power into its own ability. For example, Adam absorbed Luo Hao's Wind Authority, and the sword allowed the wielder to generate shockwaves with their punches afterward. Similarly, by absorbing lightning from another Authority, it can generate immense magnetic abilities. It also has the ability to absorb divine powers directed against its wielder, using that energy to strengthen its own power or redirect it back at the enemy. When a divine power tries to harm the wielder, the blade can "absorb" that force and transform it into a power source for the wielder, reversing the energy against the enemy.

Additionally, by absorbing the Authority of a divine being or Campione, the sword can even create a new form of power from that energy, making the wielder even more formidable.

Fusions:

One Strike, One Death: An attack that cuts all the death lines of a target, truly killing them, even Authorities capable of reviving the user are useless.

Godslayer's Divine Power: Turns the arms into a stronger steel state, making punches far more powerful, capable of breaking a Steel God with punches.

One Saber of Light: An attack that creates a golden energy beam capable of destroying entire continents, strong enough to destroy one of Luo Hao's Authorities.

Goat: Creates magnetism strong enough to hurl Sun Wukong into the upper reaches of the atmosphere and even into space.

Sun Fragment: By absorbing the White Stallion, it creates a solar sword.

Golden Sword: Capable of cutting indestructible divine artifacts and temporarily canceling their power.

Avatar of Destruction: By combining with the Boar, it gives him a black steel body, and his tusks become blades, like spears capable of piercing all existence. The tusks can be fired at divine speed if necessary.

Wind Sword: By absorbing the Gale, it gives the user a wind body and a wind sword with the power of a hurricane. In this form, one can move at teleportation/instantaneous speed and harm gods with the sword.

Copies:

Constrictive Diadems: Copied from Wukong's steel body. Can elongate and compress. Create clones, at least 2, totaling 3 diadems.

Train Dragons: Capable of controlling dragons.

Shockwaves: Absorbed Luo Hao's power and can release a shockwave capable of blowing everything on Earth away when he punches or simply points his hand, can even nullify other shockwaves.

Normally, the Ame no Murakamo Tsurugi is stored in his arm.

Incantations:

"It was here in this place that Susanoo led a thousand rebel gods in rebellion. A thousand swords standing upon the earth, used as city walls to defend against enemies."

"Here! That is, the Ama no Murakumo no Tsurugi! The steel that breaks a thousand blades!"

"Descend, Pulverize Evil!"

[Authority of Baihu]

Strength of the Mountain King: This Authority was usurped from the Chinese God Baihu in his incarnation as the White Tiger, one of the Four Celestial Gods of China.

Baihu protects the teachings of Buddha and humanity, is the King of Animals, and the lord of mountains, being the incarnation of a war god who destroys demons and the dead.

This Authority can take different forms based on his desires. Its primary form consists of summoning Baihu as a Divine Beast that serves his will, a White Tiger that can alter its size from that of a normal tiger to over thirty meters tall. As a Divine Beast, it is fiercer and more powerful than Verethragna's [Boar], having fought on equal terms against Voban's [Wolf] form.

Its skin possesses the invulnerability of [Steel], as Baihu governed [Metal], and its ferocity and power are worthy of a war god and the King of Animals, able to clash on equal terms with Voban.

Another manifestation of this Authority is where Adam is covered in black markings, gaining a massive increase in his physical capabilities. His physical strength equals and even surpasses Verethragna's [Bull] and Luo Hao's [Vajrapani Divine Power]. It also grants extremely sharp combat instincts like Verethragna's [Camel], and due to Baihu's connection to [Steel], it provides pseudo-invulnerability of [Steel].

A contrary effect of this Authority is that when manifested as a Divine Beast, Baihu can escape the dominion of its summoner if they lack the willpower to tame it. When used to enhance physical capabilities, his mind becomes filled with Baihu's bestial instincts, and if overused, it could turn him into a "raging beast."

Incantations:

"Come, Baihu!"

[Authority of Xolotl]

Twin Stars: This Authority, usurped from the Aztec God Xolotl, grants him two special powers.

The first is the ability to teleport to any location he desires through shadows. The limitation is that the locations must have a nearby shadow, and he must vividly imagine the place. Additionally, the farther the distance, the more magical energy it consumes. Beyond this useful ability, he can also manipulate shadows as he pleases.

Xolotl, the Aztec god of death, fire, and misfortune, is often associated with the underworld and darkness. Some myths interpret him as accessing the underworld or opening pathways, acting as a guide through shadows. Though the original myths do not explicitly describe this type of power, his connection to Mictlan (the Aztec underworld) and his role as a guide for the souls of the dead gave him this aspect in modern Aztec interpretations.

The first power also grants him the ability to deteriorate everything around him, including objects and life. Though associated with death, Xolotl can also be seen as a god who controls the natural cycle of healing and decay, being the shadow of the underworld. When this Authority is activated, he is also protected from most close-range and melee attacks, mainly because everything within a specific range of him rapidly decays and disintegrates before making contact. Even Luo Hao's [Dragon's Roar and Tiger's Howl] Authority dissipated when it got close to him while using this Authority.

He also gained [Eyeless Perception], a result of one of Xolotl's most famous myths. When the fifth world was created, all Aztec deities bet they would have to sacrifice themselves to make the fifth Sun, or Nahuaollin, move. Xolotl did not want to be sacrificed and cried so much that his eyes popped out, leaving him completely blind. This manifested as an ability that allows him to perceive the three-dimensional space around him with far greater precision than a typical human would with optical vision. He can sense textures and fine details.

The second power of this Authority is the ability to manipulate movement, which can achieve vastly different results despite only giving him control over a single element: motion. This allows him to freely manipulate the movement of anything within a certain distance from him. Just as in the concept of ball games, Xolotl was considered a "representation" or personification of movement, or Ollin in the Nahuatl language, in many aspects, such as earthquakes, the guidance of the Sun and souls to the underworld, childbirth (as Xolotl, alone or with Quetzalcoatl's help, resurrected all humanity after the great flood), aging, and how space-time are interconnected because time is always aging the universe as it "moves forward," and more. This is why Xolotl is so deeply affiliated with movement.

**Incantations:**

"Shadows, emerge!"

"Shadows, pierce!"

Among many others…

[Authority of Mixcoatl]

Father of the Cosmos: Mixcoatl, whose name means "Cloud Serpent," is an important god in Aztec and other Mesoamerican mythologies. He is associated with hunting, war, storms, and the night sky, as well as being considered one of the creator gods and ancestors of great civilizations. Some stories associate him with the night sky and the Milky Way. The Aztecs believed that the stars were hunters in the sky and that Mixcoatl guided them through the constellations. His name, "Cloud Serpent," also reinforces this connection to celestial phenomena like storms and lightning.

This Authority gives him the ability to create, shape, and use the stars of the universe to his advantage, celestial bodies in spherical form composed of plasma made of gases and dust, notably helium and hydrogen. During the mature phase of their life, stars maintain a state of equilibrium due to their own gravitational forces and the pressure exerted by the core through fusion reactions occurring within that structure. This state is called hydrostatic equilibrium. This Authority was flexible, as Adam could create a fire star capable of wiping an ocean off the map, or he could absorb the energy of the Milky Way's stars to enhance the power of an attack or add some effect to his attacks, but he could not create black holes or the like, being limited to stars with various effects.

Incantations:

"O ancestral light dancing in the veil of night,

Guide the steps of wanderers with bright might,

May your splendor illuminate my destiny,

And let the stars sing my name to infinity,

Sealing my path beneath the eternal firmament!"

"Celestial flame, streak the sky and grant me your power,

Let the stars be my lamps in the darkness!"

[Authority of Tlazolteotl]

King of Purification and Lust: The most basic power of this Authority was the ability to purify everything in the world. Negative effects, curses, and sins would cease to exist in his presence while this Authority remains active. This applied to the necromantic effects of divine Authorities over the dead. He also had the power to transform evil into good or simply make someone pure, even able to cleanse bad memories—something that wouldn't work on Campiones and [Heretic Gods] due to their innate resistance.

In one myth, Tlazolteotl is called to purify the sins committed by humans. The inhabitants of the Aztec world, often involved in impure actions and immoral practices, felt overwhelmed by guilt. To alleviate these feelings, they invoked Tlazolteotl to help purify their hearts and souls. She listened to their confessions and, in return, purified them, removing impurities from the mind and body, as well as spiritual impurities. This power perfectly reflected these myths. There were myths that she even went to the Aztec underworld to purify the dead, rendering Voban's Authority useless.

Taking on the aspect of the Goddess of Lust, he also had some interesting capabilities, able to manipulate anything related to lust, including desire, passion, and even the complex emotion of love, increasing or decreasing it at will. In broader terms, he could literally do whatever he wanted with everything related to "Lust."

Passively, this attracted women to him like a magnet, and combined with his appearance, it was easy to see why Luo Hao fell for him—also related to her delusions. He could also give a hypnotic suggestion that made people reveal their deepest desires without hesitation.

This power involved another popular myth involving Xochiquetzal, the goddess of love, beauty, and sexuality, with whom Tlazolteotl is often associated due to their similar attributes. While Xochiquetzal is seen as the goddess of pleasure and happiness, Tlazolteotl is associated with the darker, redemptive side of desire. In some versions of the myths, Tlazolteotl is described as a twin sister or simply a sister of Xochiquetzal, with some believing she was a Goddess with these two aspects. This relationship between the two goddesses reflects the different facets of sexuality and desire in the Aztec pantheon, like two sides of a coin. This ability stemmed from this myth, as Xochiquetzal was essentially an Aphrodite or Ishtar in Aztec culture.

On that note, he possessed another primary power based on the Aztec Lust Goddess, who incorporated these two goddesses from the myths.

The power was something he called [Clarity Amplification], which gave him the ability to amplify an effect as much as he desired, potentially to an almost infinite extent. It was the simple power of "amplifying one's desire until it becomes physical," which Xochiquetzal and even Tlazolteotl (through her purification) had done in some myths, giving shape to this interesting power. When used on a creature, it could increase its power; there was a limit, and exceeding it would result in living beings becoming worn out by the burden of their excessively amplified power or, in extreme cases, being burned alive by their own body heat or otherwise disintegrating. He couldn't use it on himself, but he could use part of it on his attacks.

When used on an attack, it could potentially create an absolutely catastrophic result by increasing its power to the absolute limit, creating the strongest possible offensive power. He could even amplify the power of his Authorities to a certain extent.
