As the sparks expanded quickly, the wolves tried to disperse, yet the spells activation was far too ahead of their reactions. A large cloud of yellow pollen exploded on impact, catching all of the pack within its radius. Dante stood in front of Iris and quickly waved off the smoke from the spell.
The smoke sat in the air, as the effect of the spell went fully under effect. The wolves laid on the ground as they shook violently from the impact.
"They're paralyzed, and you got almost all of them…!"
"Well…This is the spell I'd been practicing…"
She looked at the Alpha wolf who sat with its teeth clenched on the other side of the panel. Its fangs were bared as it snarled loudly at the two. Iris rose her wand once more before Dante ignited his blade once more with a firm grip to his sword's hilt. He grinned as he glanced at Iris.
"Just like in class. Combination spells…"
Iris let off a small smile as she wiped her forehead, quickly understanding what Dante was mentioning.
"...Are cause and effect."
