As the dust settled, only Refining Mo stood still in his place, and the three people lying on the ground. Illusion Fox struggled free from the soldiers' blockage and rushed to Nightmare's side, placing her finger in front of his nose.
"He's still alive." Illusion Fox sensed a faint breath and immediately poured her Inner Strength into Nightmare's body, while Soul Destroyer and Demoness also coughed softly next to them. They had all sustained serious injuries. The nearby soldiers immediately stepped forward, taking advantage of Refining Mo's inaction, to help the two up. Illusion Fox grabbed Nightmare to let him rest at the back.
"Cough cough, a bunch of ants forced me to use a Forbidden Technique, what a disgrace." Refining Mo's eyes emitted a deep blue light, with barely a few good pieces of fabric left on him, his clothes torn and tattered. His dark green skin faintly glowed and, upon closer observation, one could see that his body seemed to have grown larger than before.
