On the eighteenth birthday, what will happen?
Little Red Riding Hood had spent the past few years of her life avoiding thinking about this question—as she had always appeared as the most mature character in Fairy Tales, a trustworthy older sister in the hearts of her younger siblings. Despite sometimes talking nonchalantly with people about coming of age and the possible future, when someone truly asked her how she planned to spend her eighteenth birthday, she would say... there's nothing special about the day.
She thought that this day should be like every other birthday in her past life because that's how the previous generation of Little Red Riding Hood taught her. She would go to class, talk to people, observe the world, and then return home before dark, back among her younger siblings, where everyone would prepare cake and gifts for her, but perhaps this time she wouldn't need to make a wish.
