Seeing Marco's state Thanatos was worried. When he was about to pick up Marco he froze.
Thinking back he remembered that Aphrodite mentioned that Marco fought Lucifer. If he did doesn't that mean that he was already exposed to Miasma?
Thanatos was curious now, his palm glowed with dark power as he placed his hand on the unconscious Marco.
When Thanatos infused some of his power into Marco he suddenly felt weightless. He was sure that he place a little of his consciousness into the power to better diagnose Marco.
But when he opened his eyes he saw something horrific. A mass of Eyes, mouth with dagger like teeth all with a cruel smile plastered on the disorienting scene.
Before the literal god of death could act he heard a deep soul shuddering voice resound in his mind.
"I will soon wake, when I do..." The smiles that were scattered everywhere all opened their mouths showing their ungodly sharp teeth that seem like they could pierce anything.
"I expect a fun fight, OH GOD OF DEATH. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA..." The loud voice resounded as Thanatos's power was forcefully expelled.
The man simply opened his eyes in shock at what he just seen. As a being that has lived for eons he had only seen something like this once.
It was during the being of time, when a coalition of gods had to assemble and with great sacrifice managed to seal 'THAT THING" under the sea.
Today it was know as the Bermuda Triangle, mortal's only know it for the strange electromagnetic waves that occur in the area resulting in distorting radio signals.
But the reality was something more .... Special. A being of unimaginable power was currently sleeping under the island. A well know case of that being's power leaking was Amellia Marry Aarhart.
She disappeared from the world when she flew over the bermuda triangle only to return a few years in the future. The amazing part? She was wearing the same gear, flying the same plane and acted as though only a few hours passed.
When the world was grieving her disappearing years ago, finally recognising that she was dead. Only to have her reappear, this simple piece of news sent the world into an uproar.
Imagine this incident was the result of a tiny leak of that monsters power. It was insane, and to think that all this was caused by that power hungry god.
It was told since the days of old that due to a betrayal a god used all his power to breach a hole to another dimension. The result?
It was summoned, the betrayed god that wanted his 'rightful' throne was devoured before hell was unleashed throughout the world.
He remembered the horror of that reality bending entity, afterall he was on the battlefield to subdue that beast. The truely scary thing about that beast was that it would influence the minds of weaker gods after the inital confrontation.
Effectively having an army with a glance. That was how terrifying that beast was, and after gazing at Marco he felt that both that monster and Marco was extremely similar.
