The woman stood to the right and the man stood to the left, they were both ready to attack Cades who was still being watched by the other Cades, the one that was so much worse at fighting that he looked like a clown to the currently fighting one, the one that looked like he was at a whole other rank to the sitting Cades who was still ready to fight should the need arise, though it didn't seem like it would as The man and woman were already rushing, trying to kill him and go after the other him, a needless task destined to fail as Cades was more than powerful enough to beat them, especially with his skills.
But while the two of them were rushing towards Cades he quickly realized what had to be done to evade the two of them that had to cover about a hundred feet, having both run away from Cades to recuperate previously, he would just have to warp behind one of them, and what better than the currently more difficult opponent, aside from the fact that the other one was starting to fly once more, causing Cades to be even less likely to kill her if he were to warp behind her.
When he suddenly vanished, having instantly appeared behind the male one that was still moving, he was surprised, not because of something visual, but rather because while the female didn't even notice it at first, the man noticed, and turned around, twisting his sword and causing some of the wooden planks to creak as he pushed himself with all he had to slash at Cades before Cades killed him, or at least trying to stop it all from hitting him directly, instead blocking the attack.
Luckily for the man however Cades was surprised by the quick and sudden reaction and took a single step back, something that was destined to give the man who was already starting to move again, trying to leverage his own momentum better, a chance of winning unless he did something, and something came to mind almost instantly.
Instead of attacking using his blade he called for one of his actives, the weakest of them all, one that his other self hadn't really used even once, but one he was quite a fan of due to the sheer utility of unnerving the opponent with sudden attacks, however light they may be.
The torrent of magic, taking a kind of transparent sphere, shot towards the man who as surprised and tried to defend himself in any way he could, but still got shot by the magical missile, forcing his opponent to take a few steps back, almost falling down at the low pressure but great force that would've resulted in a bad bruise if he were able to live long enough to even see it turn bluish violet.
After that first shot was done Cades however continued, shooting more and more magical missiles at his opponent, causing him to struggle greatly as dozens of the magical missiles shot at him, all with the very same spherical torrent of translucent physical mana, and all of them powerful yet unused by the other Cades who had dismissed it as useless despite it's strategic value which he had now realized after watching his other self use it, vowing to himself to use it more as well, searching for more and more ways to solve this entire thing.
While her partner was struggling with the onslaught of the magical missile the female ehetrian also, finally, noticed and began to turn around, having flown high above to try and attack him with a surprise attack, this time making sure that the man she had been fighting wouldn't be able to find it out and evade like last time when he had turned her into more of a laughter stock, at least as far as she was concerned.
She rushed back as fast as she could, already readying herself to descend onto Cades, splitting his head in half using her new axe that she had previously hidden underneath her cloak, one that had an opening in the back for her wings like those of most ehetrians, but before she could arrive there and attack from above the situation changed a bit once more, with her partner, the male ehetrian now almost defeated.
Cades had stopped using the missiles, instead attacking his opponent directly together with another one of the many ones he had shot, he had attacked using his blade, causing his opponent to be completely surprised and barely able to defend himself, still being hit in the leg but somehow only failing to fall down once, being pressed down even further, with the other Cades looking stunned and the fighting one looking at his opponent with a cruel and devastating look that felt as if he was about to rip it apart.
But still, the other one, the female ehetrian was not that much late, only being so late that her partner was slightly cut, his own blade pressed onto his chest and his face turned into a grimace of despair with the other Cades watching as he saw himself smiling with an obvious glint of madness that had now become more of a eternal flame of insanity while he had been fighting.
As the female ehetrian flew down, as the male ehetrian lost strength and was about to die, he knew what to do, he knew what he should do to save himself and further damage his opponents, perhaps even capture that flying woman who had been so annoying all this time.
Cades expelled mana inside of him, causing his opponent, now free of the interlocked swords just like him shortly before, to fly away, still weakened and not capable of holding on anymore, barely able to continue fighting, then, after that, he activated his own magic, he activated a shield, transparent, thick, dome-shaped and violet, right above his head to stop the ehetrian girl from slashing him, intending to dismiss it just a bit later and attack her in turn, with her momentum slowed down enough.
