As the silence settled over our mountain cave, I nestled into the warm scales of my family's dragon bodies. Father's massive form loomed beside me, his albino scales glowing softly in the fading light. Mother's gentle snores rumbled from across the cave, a soothing background hum.
I closed my eyes, feeling the warmth of the cave and the comfort of my family's presence. The sound of dripping water and distant wind echoed through the caverns, lulling me into a peaceful state.
Suddenly, I felt a gentle nudge from Kieraxys, who was lying nearby. I opened my eyes to find him gazing at me with a curious expression. What would he do next?
Kieraxys's curious gaze held mine for a moment before he looked away, his copper scales catching the fading light. I smiled, knowing that look – he was plotting something. Sure enough, he began to slowly crawl towards me, his little claws clicking on the stone floor.
As he approached, I reached out a claw to gently guide him closer. Kieraxys settled beside me, his eyes shining with excitement. I wrapped a protective wing around him, feeling his warmth and energy.
"What's on your mind, little one?" I asked softly, my voice barely above a whisper.
Kieraxys looked up at me with big, round eyes. "Tharros, tell me a story," he said, his voice full of anticipation.
I smiled, happy to oblige. "What kind of story would you like to hear?" I asked, my mind already racing with tales of adventure and bravery.
Kieraxys thought for a moment before his face lit up. "Tell me about the time you and Lyriath went on a treasure hunt!" he exclaimed.
I chuckled, remembering the tale. "Alright, little one," I said, settling in to tell the story. "It was a sunny day, and Lyriath and I decided to explore the nearby caves..."
Father sighed "Thyriatrix can you help me get up? I'm still lying on my side with my very rounded and bulging belly!" Father said Mother shook her head.
"Oh, Aetherius, you're still stuck," Mother said with a smirk, her light green scales glinting in the fading light. "Looks like someone needs to work on their dragon yoga poses."
Father looked up at her with a sheepish grin. "Thyriatrix, come on. A little help would be nice."
Mother raised an eyebrow, her tail swishing behind her. "No way, dear. You got yourself into that position. You can get yourself out."
Father chuckled and began to slowly roll onto his belly, his massive body shifting with effort. With a final push, he managed to stand up, his albino scales gleaming in the dim light.
"Thanks for nothing, Thyriatrix," Father said, laughing.
Mother smiled sweetly at him. "Anytime, Aetherius. You're welcome to practice your belly-flopping skills anytime."
Mother smiled. "I will be outside, alright."
"Alright," Father replied, watching as Mother turned and walked towards the entrance of the cave. "I'll find something to do around here," he added, his voice filled with a hint of amusement.
As Mother disappeared into the fading light, Father turned his attention back to our little group. I was still sitting with Kieraxys, listening to his chatter and enjoying the quiet moment together.
"I'm glad to be sitting down," Father said, settling down beside us with a grunt. "My belly's still a bit...uncomfortable."
I smiled sympathetically, knowing that Father's current state made flying and other activities a bit tricky for him. Instead, he seemed content to simply enjoy the company of our family.
Kieraxys, sensing Father's relaxed mood, snuggled up closer to him, and Father wrapped a gentle claw around him, holding him close.
I look at Kieraxys. "I will be with Father for a while. You can play the rest!" I said.
Kieraxys's eyes lit up with excitement. "Yay! I'll go play with Lyriath and the others!" he exclaimed, scrambling to his feet.
With a happy roar, Kieraxys scampered off to join the other siblings, leaving me to sit with Father in peace. Father smiled, watching Kieraxys join the others.
"You're a good big brother, Tharros," Father said, his voice filled with warmth.
I smiled, feeling happy to be spending time with Father and knowing that Kieraxys was having fun with the others.
I leaned against Father's side, feeling grateful for the quiet moment we shared together. The sound of the other siblings' playful roars and growls filled the cave, a joyful background noise that added to the warmth of the moment.
As we sat there, I couldn't help but think about how much I loved being part of this family. Father's words of praise still lingered in my mind, and I felt a sense of pride knowing that I was a good big brother to Kieraxys and the others.
The peacefulness of the moment was a nice change of pace, and I was content to simply enjoy Father's company.
I look at Father. "Are you OK?" Father nodded. "Yes, even after you use my belly as a drum and sing! About my bulging belly, which is a little rude."
I chuckled, feeling a bit sheepish. "Sorry about that, Father. I didn't mean to make fun of your belly."
Father smiled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "It's alright, Tharros. I know you were just joking around. Besides, a little teasing is a small price to pay for having such wonderful children."
I smiled back at him, feeling happy that he wasn't too upset. "We'll be gentle with your belly, I promise," I said, grinning.
As rolled Father lay down on the ground, belly first, he let out a soft grunt, his face scrunching up slightly in discomfort. I could tell it wasn't the most comfortable position for him, given his current state.
Despite the discomfort, Father seemed to relax into the position, letting out a slow breath as he settled in. I watched him, feeling a mix of concern and affection for my father, who was willing to endure a little discomfort for the sake of comfort.
I gently lick Father belly gently.
Father's expression softened, and he let out a gentle sigh as my tongue made contact with his belly. He closed his eyes, seeming to relax further into the sensation.
"Ah, Tharros, that feels nice," he murmured, his voice low and soothing. "You're always so gentle with me."
I continued to gently lick his belly, trying to be as soothing as possible. Father's words filled me with warmth, and I felt happy to be able to comfort him in this way.
Even with the significant size difference, I managed to carefully maneuver myself to reach Father's belly, my 10-meter tall frame awkwardly positioned to accommodate his massive 75-meter tall body.
Father seemed to appreciate the effort, his eyes still closed in relaxation as I continued to gently lick his belly. Despite the size difference, the gesture seemed to bring him comfort, and I was happy to provide it.
As I continued to lick Father's belly, he let out a low, rumbling growl, a sign of contentment and relaxation. His massive body seemed to melt into the ground, his muscles relaxing as he enjoyed the gentle attention.
I smiled to myself, feeling happy to be able to bring Father such comfort. Despite our size difference, the moment felt intimate and special, a bonding experience between us that transcended our physical differences.
Father's growl deepened, and I could feel the vibrations of it beneath my tongue, a soothing sensation that made me feel more connected to him.
As I finish licking Father belly, I walk in front of him. "How are you feeling, Father?" I said while my eyes gleaming.
Father slowly opened his eyes, a warm smile spreading across his face as he gazed at me. "I'm feeling much better, Tharros," he said, his deep voice filled with gratitude. "Thank you for taking care of me."
He reached out a claw, gently touching my scales with a soft, affectionate gesture. "You're a good son," he said, his eyes shining with love and appreciation.
I felt a surge of happiness at his words, feeling proud to be able to care for him in this way.
He strock my wolf-fox like ears gently, and my ears twitched slightly by his touch.
I felt a shiver run down my spine as Father's gentle touch sent sparks of pleasure through my ears. My ears twitched again, and I leaned into his touch, enjoying the soothing sensation.
Father's smile grew wider as he stroked my ears, his eyes crinkling at the corners with amusement. "You always were sensitive about your ears, Tharros," he said, his voice filled with fondness.
I nodded "Yes it is very sensitive by touch!"
Father chuckled, his eyes sparkling with warmth. "I remember," he said, his voice filled with nostalgia. "You're one of the most sensitive dragons I've ever known."
He continued to stroke my ears gently, and I closed my eyes, letting out a contented sigh. The sensation was calming, and I felt my worries melting away under Father's gentle touch.
I frowned "HEY IT JUST MY EARS THAT ARE SENSITIVE, NOT MY WHOLE BODY AND MIND AND FEELING!" I yelled.
Father's chuckle stopped abruptly, and he looked at me with a surprised expression. "Oh, sorry Tharros, I didn't mean it like that," he said, his voice soothing. "I know you're not overly sensitive in general."
He gently stroked my ears again, trying to placate me. "I just meant that your ears are particularly sensitive to touch, that's all."
I glared at him, still slightly annoyed, but his calm demeanor helped to diffuse my irritation.
Father giggled. "You are indeed a hothead son!" [1]
I frowned "Hey I'm not that a hothead!"I said, and Father, look at Lyriath."Oh yeah, say the one that burned Lyriath alive because he scared you!" He said and chuckled.
I felt my face heat up with embarrassment as Father brought up the incident with Lyriath. "That was one time, okay?! And he was being really annoying!" I protested, trying to defend myself.
Father's chuckle turned into a full-blown laugh, and he shook his head. "I'm just teasing you, Tharros. I know you're not usually violent. But that incident with Lyriath was... memorable, to say the least."
I scowled, feeling a bit self-conscious about my temper. "Hey, that's not fair! You're always bringing that up!" I said, trying to deflect the attention.
Father's expression turned gentle, and he placed a reassuring claw on my shoulder. "I'm not trying to criticize you, Tharros. I just want you to be aware of your reactions. You're a powerful dragon, and your emotions can have big consequences."
I sighed "look I rarely get mad and nothing when too far. That is very dangerous!"
Father looked at me and said, "Oh yeah, said the one that nearly burned your younger siblings by using a big fire breath! All because Lyriath teasing for being a daddy boy!"
I face-palmed, feeling my scales heat up with embarrassment. "That... was a long time ago, okay?! And Lyriath was really pushing my buttons that time!"
Father chuckled, clearly amused by the memory. "I'm just saying, you have a bit of a short fuse when it comes to your family. But I'm proud of you for working on controlling your temper."
I look at Father. "Are you going to keep saying about my anger? Don't make you punch your very rounded and bulging belly right now!" I look at Father in anger.
Father's eyes widened in mock alarm, and he held up his claws in a defensive gesture. "Okay, okay! I surrender! No more teasing about your temper, I promise!"
He grinned, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "I'm just glad you're passionate, Tharros. It's one of the things I love about you."
I glared at him for a moment longer, then couldn't help but crack a smile at his goofy expression.
Father sighed, "From angry to calm like nothing had ever happened and what you say!"
I shrugged, "Hey, what's the point of staying mad? It doesn't solve anything."
Father chuckled, "You're a true dragon of contrasts, Tharros. Fierce one moment, calm the next."
I smiled, feeling a bit proud of my ability to bounce back from anger. "I guess I just don't see the point in holding onto anger."
Father nodded, his expression thoughtful. "That's a wise perspective, Tharros. Holding onto anger can be draining, both physically and emotionally."
He looked at me with a warm gaze. "I'm proud of the dragon you're becoming. You're strong, yet compassionate, and you think before you act... most of the time, anyway."
He chuckled, and I playfully rolled my eyes, knowing he was still thinking about the Lyriath incident.
I smiled, feeling a warmth in my chest at Father's words. "Thanks, Father. That means a lot coming from you."
Father's smile matched mine, and he placed a gentle claw on my shoulder. "I'm always here for you, Tharros. No matter what."
I nodded, feeling a sense of peace wash over me. "I know, Father. I love you."
"Love you too, Tharros," Father replied, his voice filled with affection.
