He felt a chill behind him, and as he turned around, he saw Evangeline glaring at the glass cage, her anger boiling at what had happened to the two girls inside.
She approached the glass cage and infused a portion of her mana into it. Yet it didn't budge even an inch.
"They reinforced the glass with mana," Evangeline said in a monotone voice. "They made sure the girls would not be able to escape by using mana. Especially Lana, who had a knack for this stuff."
Evangeline made a fist and turned to him with a slight smirk. "But you know... one thing about glass like that is that it's incredibly fragile when you use your fists."
With those words, Evangeline suddenly struck the glass, and to her surprise...
