Sighing, the Count retracted the golden illusory token in his hand. After that, he summoned four more and shot them toward the various Faction Representatives. With his keen sense of perception, he already knew that no one except for Azara Aluria would reject his generous offer; throwing them the treats ahead of time was just a show of good faith.
HELL received one Karma Token.
Woldom received two Karma Tokens.
And surprisingly enough, the owners of the Tower they were in—the Humans—only received a single Karma Token.
Count Sayzer allotted the Karma Tokens based on the cumulative strength of those gathered. And if not out of courtesy for being in their Tower, he wouldn't have even bothered to give the Humans even one. Their everlasting war with HELL had spread their resources thin, which meant fewer humans—both in quantity and quality.
This was one of the primary causes for such a lackluster force being sent to a Minor Karma Event in their own Tower.
