He stepped away from the crowd and took Selina's hand. "Let's go."
Amanda called out loudly, "Mr. Reid, wait! It hasn't been proven that Mrs. Reid isn't involved—she can't leave!"
Angelica pretended to restrain her. "Amanda…"
Amanda turned and said firmly, "Angelica, I know you trust Selina, but let's not forget—there's a conflict of interest here. You're both contenders for the Clark Group inheritance. Who's to say she wouldn't do something to get rid of you? We shouldn't assume the worst of others, but we must always be cautious!"
