Angelica's smug expression froze instantly. "Selina, what nonsense are you talking about?!"
Selina remained calm. "Logan doesn't want you. He wouldn't have slept with you. But if the baby isn't from the Reid Family, there's no way you'd fool them. That means this baby will never be born—because it never existed in the first place."
She was certain Logan had nothing to do with the child. And even if Angelica tried to pass off someone else's baby as his, the risk was too high.
On top of that, Angelica's pulse didn't feel like that of a pregnant woman. That was all Selina needed to conclude—Angelica was never pregnant at all.
Angelica's throat tightened. "I don't know what you're talking about. I'm going upstairs to rest!"
She quickly stood up and rushed upstairs, like something terrifying was chasing her.
Selina took a sip of tea, her expression thoughtful.
Did Grandpa Reid know Angelica wasn't pregnant?
Or Joe?
