The bodyguard jumped in shock, furious that someone had barged in and ruined his fun. "Who dares to ruin my business?"
Logan shot him a cold glance. Jack responded by slamming a punch straight into the guard's stomach.
"Argh! You—you can't do this, I'm Old Mr. Reid's bodyguard! You—AH!"
"Take him out."
Jack and Jaxon exchanged a quick glance and efficiently dragged the man away. In moments, the warehouse was cleared, leaving only Logan and Selina inside.
Logan took a deep breath. A wave of pain surged through him at the sight before him.
Her coat was torn, her cheek swollen, and her wrists were bleeding.
"You're safe now. It's over."
Selina was groggy, her mind clouded by the drug. She only knew she was safe now.
It felt like she was back in that snowy night four years ago, when she and Logan saved each other. She just knew he'd come.
Shivering from the heat, Selina murmured, "Logan…"
