"Why would I do that?" Louis asked back, confused.
"Because of what I am. What if I hurt someone?"
"You won't."
"You don't know that!"
"Ellie..."
She clenched her fists, shaking. "I can feel it, Louis. There's something inside me—something I don't understand. What if it takes over? What if—"
"It won't."
His voice was firm, unwavering.
Ellie looked up at him, desperate for reassurance, but doubt still lingered in her trembling frame.
Louis exhaled sharply.
"Elyon."

"What do I have to do to control her?"
