Liam asked Luna, "Have you met with 'them' in this city?"
Luna shook her head. "No, I haven't."
Liam wondered who they really were and what their purpose was. They had given him a mission to kill Marcus Potu, who turned out to be a hero killer. Did they know about it, and was that why they had asked him to kill Marcus Potu? Or was it just a coincidence? Liam had all these thoughts swirling in his mind.
He turned to Luna, his voice steady. "Why were you looking for me, Luna? Why couldn't you just contact me directly rather than hiding your identity like this?"
Luna hesitated for a moment, her gaze shifting away. "It wasn't my intention to hide my identity from you, Liam. I just never got a chance to tell you."
Liam's eyes narrowed. "If that was the case, then why were you denying and refusing to acknowledge what I was saying? Why were you pretending to be a stranger when I came to you?"
