Daniel blinked.
Then laughed.
"Are you insane?"
Victoria arched one perfectly plucked brow. "Only when dealing with men like you."
"You came all the way here to tell me to divorce my wife?"
"Ex-wife if you are smart enough to get me," she corrected, already adjusting the angle of her foot on his desk like she owned the place. "Soon to be nothing, if you don't pull yourself together."
"Victoria…..Jesus—you are unbelievable."
"And you're pathetic."
Daniel leaned forward, planting both palms on the edge of the desk. "I'm not divorcing Regina."
A pause. Not because she believed him but because she was too amused to interrupt.
"Oh, please. You don't even like her."
"That's none of your fucking business."
"It became my business when you let a spoiled, manipulative brat worm her way into my company."
"Regina didn't worm her way into anything," he snapped.
