Amber was in her office when her phone rang. She received a call from Emily.
She picked it up "hello bestie"
Emily was in a good mood judging by her voice "I'm super good, you? How is your day going"
Amber smiled "I'm good too. I've been working all morning and it's tiring"
Emily chuckled "Guess I did right by calling you then"
Amber chuckled "so what's up? Why do I feel like something good is about to happen?"
"Maybe it is about to happen. Let's find out"
"so tell me already. What's the good news? I can't wait to find out. Did Xavier marry you secretly or something? Or wait, are you pregnant?" Amber asked almost scared to know that it's the latter
"none of the above. Will you listen to me before you start making up things please"
She pouted "ok fine. I'm all ears" Amber said listening to her this time around.
"The truth is, Xavier invited me for lunch and I thought I should invite you too" said Emily.
