As you step out of the portal with Aatu, you take in the environment around you. It appears that you're on a gray moon with no atmosphere, and you can see many other moons that look similar all in orbit around the moon that you're standing on. The landscape is a desolate plane of rock and moon dust, and as you walk beside Aatu, you feel much lighter than you're normally used to because of the reduced gravity.
After you and Aatu stop walking, he speaks to you in a calm tone while looking up at one of the moons in the sky.
" We're here. "
You turn your head towards Aatu as he's staring at the sky and you can see that he's clearly deep in thought. You wonder what kind of thoughts a God could have that would cause him to think this deeply. As Aatu stares deep into the distance, you ask him a question.
" So when do you plan on telling Izael and the others about the ring? "
Aatu responds as he continues to stare upwards.
" You will tell them once this meeting is over. "
You turn your gaze upwards at the sky with Aatu as he stares into space. You both stand there silently for a minute or so as you both take in the view of all of the surrounding moons, and you feel at peace in the silence of the environment around you.
Then shortly afterwards, a blue portal opens up to your left and you can see Izael, Noeh and Mimi all step through. Mimi looks around in wonder before noticing you and running up to you excitedly, jumping towards you to give you a hug.
" STAR FALLER!! "
She yells in excitement upon seeing you again as she floats towards you with her arms open. She gives you a hug and looks up at you, inquiring about your absence from the castle.
" There you are!! When we were in the castle, you both disappeared really fast and Noeh and Izael didn't know where you went. Why'd you guys leave so fast, Star Faller? I got super scared because I thought you left me… "
You smile gently as you look down at Mimi, but before you're able to respond to her, Aatu cuts you off and responds for you.
" I took him to the battle in your village and showed him the might of Izael's angels as they defeated the dragon. "
Mimi's eyes light up in amazement.
" WOAHHH!! You watched the angels slay the dragon!? I wish I was there to see that!! "
As Mimi and Aatu talk in the background about the great dragon and the angels, you tune out their conversation because you notice that Izael is staring at you menacingly. You see him drop his gaze down to the ring on your finger, then look back up into your eyes as if he's telling you that he knows that you weren't wearing it before.
Aatu and Mimi's conversation comes to a sudden stop when you all see a large golden portal open up in the distance in front of all five of you. After a couple of seconds, you see a very large man wearing a golden suit of armor step through slowly. The man appears to have dark skin and long blonde hair with golden chains hanging from his armor and a golden crown on his head. As the man approaches the five of you confidently with his chest out, you can see the golden chains from his armor completely destroying the surface of the moon as they drag on the ground behind him. Once he reaches you, he looks down at you like you're nothing more than an insect standing before him. Based on his height compared to yours and the other Gods, you think he's got to be at least ten feet tall.
There's no doubt in your mind that this individual is more than just a man.
This individual is a God.
This individual is Nahzgor.
You get chills as Nahzgor speaks in a deep aggressive tone.
" It was a mistake inviting me here after your angels turned one of my dragons into a burning corpse, Izael. "
" Your followers were massacring and cursing innocent villagers in the pursuit of finding our father's book. As the God of Order and Justice, you know that I could not allow such atrocities to go unhandled. "
Izael retorts as he steps forward to Nahzgor. You stand aside and listen to these Gods hash things out with one another.
" I know that you harbor no compassion for these puny mortals, Izael. You protect them and enforce justice only because that is the way you were created. Just like the actions that I'm responsible for are a direct result of the way that our father created me. You and I are no different, brother. "
" I disagree. I believe that where we differ lies in what we believe. Yes, our beliefs are a direct result of how we were created. But the way I see the universe will forever be different than the way that you see it, and that's an undeniable truth. "
" Izael. Brother. I attempt to reason with you because I understand you and I can give you what you want. You seek Order within our universe. So do I. Why don't you stand beside me so we may enforce Order amongst this universe together? When we rule all that there is to rule, there will be no injustice. There will be no lawlessness. "
" Ruling over this universe like tyrants is an injustice itself, Nahzgor. You forget that we share this universe with our siblings, and each of them has just as much of a right to be a God as you or I. You also forget that Aatu would never allow it, as he's responsible for retaining balance. Aatu could defeat us both with no effort, so don't act like he couldn't force you onto your knees and make you beg for mercy if you tried such a thing. "
" Look at yourself. Little Izael, always standing next to big brother Aatu. Aatu is a fool and a coward. You look up to him because of his power, yet he refuses to use it unless he deems it absolutely necessary. Aatu is nothing more than the God of Wasted Potential. If our father had given me his power instead, then the universe would be peaceful under my rule for eternity. "
" I look up to Aatu because of his judgment and ability to handle the responsibility that our father has bestowed upon him. Aatu doesn't use his power for personal gain, unlike you. He is always fair, and that is why I am honored to stand by his side. You've been trying to usurp Aatu's place as the most powerful God for thousands of years, and we know that is why you are seeking our father's book for yourself. "
" You are wrong. The reason why I seek our father's book is none of your business, brother. You called me here because you told me that you knew who was in possession of it, so here I am. "
Nahzgor turns his head and looks directly at you. Your stomach turns in fear as his gaze pierces your soul.
" I remember this mortal. The Black Trap. I presume that you've brought him here because he knows the book's whereabouts? "
" No. The book was stolen from him while he was unconscious after he landed in Ishville. This mortal seeks to recover the book so he may hopefully cure a curse that one of your servants gave a human woman and save her. "
Nahzgor smiles a sadistic grin before looking down at Mimi, who's hiding behind your legs, and asks another question.
" And the child that you've brought here? "
" The woman who's cursed is the mother of this child. She has our sister's blessing, so she has chosen to stay with the mortal in his endeavors to find the book as well. "
Nahzgor turns back to Izael and stares intensely into his eyes as he asks him another question.
" Interesting. So tell me… who has the book, Izael? "
" The mortal used my throne to see who stole it. I spoke to Noeh and he believes the thief to be another Black Trap within our universe that is powerful enough to use The Holy Omniverse Transcript with ease. We thought that your army may be strong enough in strength and number to find them and take the book. "
Nahzgor tilts his head upwards in disbelief while looking down at Izael.
" Two Black Traps within our universe!? That's absurd, brother. This mortal must be blinding you to the truth… tricking you and playing games with you! You're speaking nonsense! "
Noeh chimes in, in an attempt to convince Nahzgor of the truth.
" It's true, Nahzgor. I saw it too and so did Aatu. "
Nahzgor pushes back everyone as he bursts into flames, causing his golden armor and chains to begin glowing red-hot.
" Unbelievable. You're all blinded… but I still see. All of you… weak minded fools… and I am the only one strong enough to see things for what they are. Because of my superior judgment, I was correct in knowing what must have been done from the start. I have already tried this once before when I first saw this mortal with our father, but this time our father will not be here to stop me. "
The flames grow larger and larger as Nahzgor funnels his power into his physical form. The golden chains begin wrapping around him and molding into more and more armor until Nahzgor looks like a giant golden flaming paladin. You can feel the heat of raw power radiating from this hulking titan as he screams at Izael with rage.
" I WILL ENSLAVE THIS MORTAL AND FORCE HIM TO GIVE UP THE BOOK TO ME!!! "
You blink your eyes and suddenly you, Aatu, Mimi and Noeh are all teleported away from Nahzgor as Izael stands in front of him. Izael's form then explodes into a bright blue flash and it staggers Nahzgor backwards. As the light dimmers down, you can see that Izael's form has grown as well and he's now wearing a diamond-like armor that's burning in a holy blue flame. You see that Izael is wielding a two-handed blade made of crystal that's glowing blue with a holy energy, and he points the sword at the ground in a low guard between himself and Nahzgor as he responds.
" Then you will have to go through me first. "
Nahzgor then materializes a large golden chain in his hands and digs his feet into the ground as he accepts his brother's challenge.
" So be it. "
