Chapter 26 - Chapter 76-77-78

Chapter 76: Meeting Stassie's Family

It was a special day for Stassie. After weeks of dating Gabriel, she decided it was time to introduce him to her family. The meeting would be at her sister Alexia's house, a more intimate setting, perfect for everyone to feel comfortable. Gabriel, as always, was calm and confident, but Stassie knew this meeting meant a lot to her.

"Are you ready?" Stassie asked as she straightened Gabriel's jacket before they went inside.

He smiled and took her hand. "You know nothing scares me. But if your niece doesn't like me, I might have a problem."

Stassie laughed. "Sofia will love you, I'm sure. Just… be yourself."

As soon as they walked in, Alexia came to greet them with a warm smile.

"Finally! I've been looking forward to meeting the famous Gabriel," Alexia said, giving Stassie a hug and Gabriel a firm handshake. "I've heard so many stories that I feel like I know you."

Gabriel returned the handshake with a smile. "I hope they're good stories."

"Only the best," Alexia replied with a wink.

Soon, Gabriel was introduced to Stassie's father, cousins, and of course, little Sofia, who was in Alexia's arms.

"This is Sofia," Stassie said, picking up her niece and approaching Gabriel. "She's the love of our family."

Sofia looked at Gabriel with her big, curious eyes. Gabriel, with a gentle smile, extended his hand to her. To everyone's surprise, Sofia immediately leaned into him, stretching out her little arms.

"Look at that," Alexia said, surprised. "She never does that to strangers."

Gabriel held Sofia carefully, as if it came naturally to him. "Hi, little one," he said softly, while Sofia held his finger tightly.

Stassie, who was watching the scene from the side, felt her heart melt. It was a loving side of Gabriel that she knew few people saw. He seemed so at ease with the baby, rocking her gently as she giggled.

During lunch, Gabriel won over the entire family with his politeness and humor. He answered curious questions about his life and career in a straightforward but discreet way, without going into details about his work.

"So, Gabriel," Stassie's father began. "What brought you to Los Angeles?"

Gabriel smiled. "Initially, work. But now, I guess I could say it was fate." He looked at Stassie, who blushed.

Alexia laughed. "Well, you are definitely the most mysterious man we've ever met. But Stassie seems very happy with you, and that's what matters."

As everyone chatted, Sofia remained glued to Gabriel, laughing whenever he made funny faces or joked with her.

"You have a way with kids," Alexia commented.

Gabriel shrugged. "I just try not to scare them," he said with a modest smile.

"Oh, please," Stassie interrupted. "He's amazing. Even Stormi and Aire love him. Now Sofia's on the list."

Alexia noticed the chemistry between the two and smiled. "Well, Gabriel, I like you. I think you're good for my sister."

After lunch, while the family was distracted in the living room, Stassie and Gabriel went out into the garden, where she pulled him aside for a moment alone.

"You know you've won everyone over, right?" Stassie said, leaning against him.

Gabriel put his arms around her. "I've just been myself. But I have to admit, Sofia is my new love. I think I'm going to steal her for myself."

Stassie laughed and rested her head on his chest. "You have no idea how happy that makes me, you know? Seeing you with her, so natural... It made me wonder what it would be like if she were our daughter."

Gabriel was silent for a moment, holding her tighter. "Stassie," he said softly. "I never really thought about it before I met you. But with you… I can imagine, yes."

She looked at him in surprise, and couldn't hold back the tears. "You really are the man of my dreams, you know that?"

Gabriel smiled and kissed her on the forehead. "And you're the woman I never knew I needed."

When it was time to leave, Sofia cried as she was picked up from Gabriel's lap, which made the whole family laugh.

"I think you have a new number one fan," Alexia joked.

"It's her fault for being so adorable," Gabriel replied, patting Sofia's head before handing her to her mother.

As they drove away, Stassie held Gabriel's hand in the car, looking up at him with a radiant smile.

"Today was perfect," she said. "I love you more than ever."

Gabriel looked at her and smiled. "And I've never been happier to be a part of something like this."

In that moment, they both knew they were building something special, something that could last forever.

Chapter 77: Protecting Khloé

Gabriel was tasked with providing security for Khloé Kardashian at an exclusive charity event in Los Angeles. The evening promised to be a busy one, with celebrities, journalists, and fans gathered outside. Gabriel, as always, looked impeccable in his understated black suit, his gaze scanning the room before Khloé even arrived.

When Khloé stepped out of her SUV, wearing a stunning gold gown that captured everyone's attention, Gabriel was already in place, ready to make his way through the crowd of photographers and fans.

"Ready to shine?" he asked, his voice calm and collected.

"Always," Khloé replied with a confident smile, adjusting the hem of her dress. "With you by my side, I feel invincible."

Gabriel made room, keeping Khloé close as they walked down the red carpet. He not only watched the crowd, but also the small movements of each person around him. He knew exactly who looked suspicious and who was just trying to take a selfie.

"What's the weather like outside?" Khloé asked as they walked into the event.

"Busy, but under control," Gabriel replied. "I've spotted a few people who seem more interested than they should be, but we're keeping an eye on them."

Khloé nodded. "You're good at what you do, Gabriel. That's obvious."

Inside the event, Gabriel stood in a strategic corner, with a clear view of Khloé and the main entrances. He watched as she moved among the guests, chatting with business people and philanthropists.

As Khloé made her way to a cocktail table, an unfamiliar man tried to approach her a little too insistently. Gabriel could sense Khloé's discomfort immediately.

"Excuse me, sir," Gabriel interjected, positioning himself between the two in a professional but firm manner. "Miss Kardashian is busy at the moment."

The man held up his hands in surrender. "Okay, okay. I just wanted to talk."

Khloé gave Gabriel a small smile of appreciation. "Always saving the day."

"It's my job," he replied with a slight nod.

Later that night, during a short break, Khloé walked over to Gabriel, who was standing in a lookout position near the venue's balcony.

"Gabriel, can I ask you something?" she said, crossing her arms.

"Sure," he replied, keeping his tone neutral but curious.

"You do this all the time…you're so focused, so serious. But what do you do to relax? I mean, you must have a life outside of this, right?"

Gabriel smirked, a rare grin. "Relax? I don't know if anyone's ever asked me that before. But…I guess I like working out. And lately, hanging out with Stassie has been nice."

Khloé laughed. "Stassie, huh? She's a lucky girl. And it's good to know you have something outside of work. We all need a balance."

"What about you?" Gabriel asked, glancing at her briefly before returning to scanning the room. "How do you balance it all?"

Khloé sighed. "It's not easy, but I've learned that my daughter, True, is my center. When things get too much, she's the one who reminds me of what really matters."

Gabriel nodded, admiring her sincerity. "Family will always be the most important thing."

As the event drew to a close, Gabriel arranged for Khloé to leave, making sure security was ready for a smooth evacuation. Outside, the crowd still waited, cameras and flashes lighting up the night.

"We'll get through this quickly," Gabriel told Khloé as he made his way through the crowd.

Fans chanted Khloé's name as she waved politely. Gabriel stood by her side, blocking any unwanted advances.

When they finally reached the SUV, Khloé turned to him. "Thank you for today, Gabriel. I feel safe with you around."

"Always at your service," he replied, holding the door open for her.

"You know," Khloé said before stepping inside, "you're not just good at what you do. You have something… special about you. And that's why everyone trusts you so much."

Gabriel gave her a slight smile. "I appreciate it, Miss Kardashian. Good night."

As the SUV drove away, Gabriel lingered for a few more minutes, making sure everything was secure before leaving. Another job completed to perfection.

Chapter 78: Talking About the Future

It was a quiet evening at Gabriel's house. He and Stassie were sitting together on the couch, the room lit by the soft light of a few candles. Gabriel wore a simple gray t-shirt and sweatpants, while Stassie wore comfortable clothes, her hair down and a serene smile. They were both relaxed after a busy day, enjoying the rare moment of calm.

As they watched a documentary on TV, Gabriel seemed a little more thoughtful than usual. Stassie noticed, as she always did, and decided to strike up a conversation.

"Are you okay?" she asked, stroking his hand.

Gabriel sighed, lacing his fingers with hers. "I am. I'm just… thinking. About the future."

Stassie raised an eyebrow curiously. "Future? What exactly are you thinking about?"

He turned to face her, his expression serious, but with a hint of vulnerability. "You know I love what I do. I protect people, I keep them safe. But with you, it's different. I want to have more time for us. I want to build something solid, something that won't be interrupted by unexpected trips or emergency calls."

Stassie was silent for a moment, absorbing his words. Then a soft smile appeared on her lips. "Gabriel... you're thinking about retiring, aren't you?"

Gabriel nodded slowly. "It's something I've been thinking about for a while. Working with the Kardashian-Jenner family was an incredible experience, and I'm grateful for the trust they've placed in me. But I want something more. Something that goes beyond work."

Stassie slid closer to him on the couch, cupping Gabriel's face with both of her hands. "I don't want you to feel like you have to change for me. But if this is something you truly want, I'm here to support you through it all."

Gabriel held her hand against his face and closed his eyes for a moment. "I know that, Stassie. And that's one of the things I love most about you. You understand me in a way few people can. But it's not just for you, it's for me too. I want to live my life more fully, without always being on alert."

Stassie smiled, feeling more in love than ever. "Have you talked to them? The Kardashian-Jenner family?"

Gabriel shook his head. "Not yet. I want to do it respectfully, when the time is right. I still want to be close to them, but maybe in a different capacity. Not as their main bodyguard, but as someone they can call if they need something important."

Stassie tilted her head thoughtfully. "If you retire, what do you plan on doing? I know you're not the type to sit still."

Gabriel smirked, the faint shadow of a plan already forming in his mind. "Maybe something that combines my skills with my desire to help people. Training security guards, offering security consulting... or even starting my own business. But most of all, I want to be more present with you. Traveling together, building a life that isn't just about responsibilities."

Stassie laughed softly. "I'd love that. Just you and me exploring the world. But you know what I imagine the most?"

"What?" Gabriel asked curiously.

She looked at him with shining eyes. "The two of us, maybe in the future, with a family. Kids running around the house, you teaching them to be strong and brave, while I try to teach them the artistic side."

Gabriel was silent for a moment, a rare, sincere smile forming on his lips. "That doesn't sound bad at all. In fact, it sounds perfect."

Over the next few days, Gabriel began to organize his transition. He scheduled a meeting with Kris Jenner to discuss his plans. Sitting in Kris's impeccably decorated office, he explained his decision honestly.

"Kris, I want to start by saying how grateful I am for the trust you and your family have placed in me. Working with you has been a unique and enriching experience. But I think it's time for me to take a step back and focus on other areas of my life."

Kris looked at him with understanding in her eyes. "I understand, Gabriel. You've always been dedicated, and of course this decision wasn't easy. But know that you'll always be a part of our family. And if you need anything, we'll be here."

Gabriel nodded, feeling relieved by the warm welcome. "Thank you. I'll still be around if you need me, but in a more advisory role, perhaps."

When Gabriel returned home that night, Stassie was waiting for him in the kitchen, preparing dinner. He hugged her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder.

"I talked to Kris today," he said.

Stassie turned, looking at him expectantly. "And what did she say?"

"She was amazing, as always. She understood my decision and was very supportive. It feels like things are starting to fall into place."

Stassie smiled, touching his chest. "You deserve this, Gabriel. And I'm so excited for what's next."

Gabriel leaned in to kiss her, a gesture full of gratitude and love. "The future is ours, Stassie. And I can't wait to experience it all with you."

Gabriel's decision marked the beginning of a new chapter in his life. He would still be close to the Kardashian-Jenner family, but now he would have more time to build his own future with Stassie, the woman who had changed everything for him.
