After causing yet another commotion, I was reprimanded by Hephaestus. But in the end, I was only banned from the training room for two days.
"This sucks, considering I wanted to keep farming Excelia and points."
But since I won't be able to forge to earn Excelia and points, the only thing left for me is to go to the dungeon. But first, I need to prepare myself a bit better. I don't even have armor.
I have a set of armor I forged a while ago, but its quality is pretty bad.
So, I'll have to look for some armor. My plan is to go to Tsubaki. If I go to her and ask for armor, I'm sure I can get one. If she doesn't give me one, I'll have to go to Mikari.
Since I don't feel comfortable around Mikari, I really hope Tsubaki helps me.
So, in the morning, as soon as I woke up and had breakfast, I went looking for Tsubaki.
"Speaking of which, I still haven't talked to her about continuing our training. I'll take this opportunity to do that."
I didn't know where she was, so I went to the only place we usually met: the training field. As soon as I arrived and saw Tsubaki, I waved to her.
But Tsubaki had her eyes closed and didn't see me.
She was focused.
'What's she doing?'
After a few seconds, still with her eyes closed and in silence, Tsubaki opened her eyes, which met mine.
"What are you doing there?" she asked.
"And what are you doing? Meditating or something?"
"Something like that. Are you here to train? I thought you'd take a break after what happened."
"Did the Goddess tell you about it?"
"Yes, of course. She said you were helped by the Freya Familia. I was surprised. Freya must be interested in you to offer that kind of help."
"Don't even joke about that."
"So, where's your sword?"
"Ah, I'm not here to train today. I came to ask you for a favor." I smiled bitterly, and Tsubaki sighed. After sighing, she suddenly attacked me.
I felt the danger approaching and tried to dodge her attack, but I couldn't.
She hit me in the stomach, though not with her full strength.
But even though she didn't use all her strength, Tsubaki said:
"You've gotten stronger. If you'd taken that hit before, you would've definitely passed out. You must've had fun in the dungeon." Tsubaki smiled in satisfaction and asked, "So, what do you want?"
Still struggling to catch my breath, I answered with difficulty while rubbing my stomach.
"I want to ask you for armor."
"Huh? Didn't you forge some armor before?" Tsubaki looked confused, so I explained everything that had happened.
"I see, you lost your best armor."
"So, will you help me?"
"Of course, I can help you." Tsubaki said as she approached me. I stepped back, afraid she'd hit me again.
"Don't worry, I won't attack you again."
"So, what do you want in return? It doesn't seem like you'd help me for free."
"You're smart. I want you to make me a sword," Tsubaki said, looking me in the eyes. I thought she was joking, but that didn't seem to be the case.
"Why? You can forge swords far better than mine, right?"
"Yes, I can, but I'm interested in that ability of yours—the one that increases your speed."
"So, you want one of my swords because of their abilities. Makes sense."
"So, what do you think? An armor in exchange for a sword. It's a fair trade."
"Alright, but it's going to take a while. I'm currently banned from using my training room."
"That's fine, you can use my forge."
"You want me to make your sword right now!?" I started to get nervous. Since the abilities are random, I probably won't be able to forge a sword that suits her so easily.
"Are you busy? You can't go into the dungeon without armor, can you?"
"Actually, I can."
"Come on. Are you embarrassed to use my forge? Afraid of failing? Don't worry, I can even help you a little."
I let out a long sigh. I thought about the situation and remembered Hephaestus's recent jealous outburst. What if she starts freaking out again?
Well, I'll just be forging something with Tsubaki—no problem.
"Alright, but don't make fun of me if I don't forge something to your liking."
"Don't worry."

Sometime later, I was in the room Tsubaki used for forging. There was no difference from my training room. I thought a professional like her would have a much bigger and better-equipped room, but that wasn't the case.
"You can use all the metal you want. If you need help, I'll be here."
"Alright."
I looked at all the metal Tsubaki had stored: Iron, Mithril, Orichalcum, and various monster drop items used for forging.
'Should I use one of these items?'
I'd never forged using items before. I did it inside the dungeon, but I only used the system—I didn't actually do anything.
"I could use this chance to complete the quest the system gave me yesterday."
[ Use an item to forge a sword ]
"What's wrong? What are you waiting for? I'm getting bored."
"Hold on, I'm thinking about how to start. Can I use these items you have here?"
"I don't mind, as long as you don't waste them."
"Don't worry," I said confidently.
Then, I picked up a War Shadow's claw—the same item I used in the dungeon to add a new ability to a sword. It's better to use an item I've tried before than a different one.
'The big problem is that I don't have my hammer with me. The chances of forging a legendary item are very low. I'll just have to rely on luck.'
