Celina waited for any penalty or unique gift notification but there wasn't any. It doesn't matter to the system if she fails to become the dungeon master.
If an abnormal dungeon, like the new one that spawned or Lost City, doesn't get a master within a year, it'll automatically change to a normal dungeon with monsters and bosses.
That's the reason she has a year to become the dungeon master.
