Meanwhile... in the Council Office
The vice president entered the President's office with a single page of parchment. He placed it on the desk, eyes down.
"That's all we've got on her, miss."
The Student Council President stared at the page.
"Celina Sawyer," she read aloud. "A first-year. Failed the first trial but got in receiving a special invitation. Average marks. Average social standing. She's basically a nobody,"
She flipped it over, expecting more information but it was blank.
Her eyes narrowed. "This is it?"
He gulped.
"Yes. I tried asking the headmaster for more. He refused to hand them over."
"Refused?" Her smile twitched.
"I tried to sneak into the record chamber... but her section was magically erased. Her name exists, but the page was blank. As if... hidden by spatial magic."
She rubbed her cheek, deep in thought. It can't be true. It seemed like the headmaster was secretly protecting her.
She stood abruptly. "Let's go to the headmaster."
