"Yeah, to victory!" Isabella said as she bumped hands with Seun before they both entered the portal.
Seun, still sensing the presence of the boss, noticed it stop its journey and turn around in the direction of the boss zone.
"Yup, I was right." Seun murmured to himself while the sad news that Sarah said to him came to mind; he dismissed it to keep himself collected.
"Now to swipe the eggs." Seun closed his eyes and extended his spatial awareness. The volcanic plain stretched before his mind's eye, the boss's massive energy signature pulsing like a beacon at the far end of the volcanic zone.
Seun moved in deeper into the boss zone; nestled in the boss lair were two faint, flickering presences—the eggs.
With a thought, Seun tore open a tiny portal just beneath the eggs. Space twisted, and the eggs vanished from the nest, reappearing in front of him with a soft plop.
"Here you go, Rin," Seun said as he floated the eggs to her.
