I opened the window and was about to leave the room. Of course, when someone innocent lives they should be caught. The guilty party already left.
I was caught by a guard who came running up the stairs and raised his gun at me when he appeared by the door.
I didn't say a word but just fell out of it. I don't wanna talk about it, but the film was a fucking pain.
I got up and rushed for the outer wall. I had climbed off halfway when two of the guards raised their guns at me.
Of course one of them intentionally shot beside me to threaten me.
He hadn't seen my face. Amd no one here has. I raised my hand and was about to turn.
While they were focused on my face, I reached for a grenade which I pulled the needle and held up.
"Let's all die together lads. I'm not jumping down from here. And I'm so willing to die with you. How about you pull that trigger and finish us all of." My words seems to resonate amd scare a few of the guards.
I dropped the grenade and the guards scrambled off. Everyone jumped for cover. Of course I hurried over the wall.
The damn explosion was a bit too much. The shock sent me falling on the pavement. Once more, I still can't forget the pain.
I escaped as one might expect.
But here's the funny thing. The entire estate was filled with explosions that blew up all over.
Yeah, I get it. It was my fault. I sent explosions without patterns and in a place with so many people. Not that it mattered to me.
An assassin or hitman has only one thing in theor mind. Killing their target.
And so, that was how I gained my first failed mission. Almost got caught. Almost died. And definitely almost tainted my name.
But there was something else about this. This was the first mission that someone hit my target before me.
What a coincidence. At least I hope so.
"Amd that your honour is how I failed your brother's assignment. But you see, the Chancellor was poisoned before being killed. Or probably fell amd hit his head before dying. I damn well don't give flying fuck about it." My revelation of the chancellor's death ended here.
"What about Mr Jin? I'm sure everyone here is curious about that one." Judge Fraisler said.
The truth is, he wanted me to say I killed someone. And the Chancellor's death couldn't be blamed on me.
That only brought light cases my way. With that much, I'd probably only last 15 hrs or so in prison.
Of course I didn't disappoint. I planned to anyway.
And so I decided to tell them about Mr Jin's demise. Just as promised.
This was a target with most peculiar death of all. I'm not talking about the way I killed the target or anything.
I'm talking about the one who ordered the hit. I didn't know the one who ordered the hit to begin with. And after the job was done I reported back to him.
You see I don't mind that. What pisses me of is that I found out who it was after I reported back to him.
And then as if to cut a loose end, the bastard was killed off.
Oh yeah, get this. The bastard died before my eyes. Because after I reported to him I was able to identify him.
I'm still trying to understand whether I was actually the target or if the scumbag was the one who was targeted.
I don't know how they knew. But the bustards car blew up right in my face after I got off it.
These shitheads were actually going going kill me.
But don't bother too much about that. This is who my target was.
My target was a businessman. No, a business tycoons with incredible wealthy. On the outside, he was an honourable man.
But I have to say, the guy was a scum through and through. But I guess it was life of the rich.
An assassin kills in a way that he will gain more clients. For example, if I killed Jin with a gun or sniper, his foes would know it was assassination.
But if I killed him with poison, as I planned, something else happens. Those around him have to confirm.
Everyone becomes a suspect and in the end, I get more clients who want to root out their foes. That's just business. And if you know how to think straight, you'd take it.
I went and prepared poison. It was a little thing that they called... Botulinum toxin. At least that's what I heard.
Black market is very reliable with such things. So I bought it, the drop point was of course around Jin's estate.
I couldn't have myself running around with such a thing. A drop of it could kill an elephant. I'd be dead if anything goes wrong.
You don't need to know my routine, so i won't blab about it. The following night, I went to the Jin estate.
I have to say, damn. This guy has some unbreachable security. I suppose he has that kind of dangerous rival. Or just paranoia.
There was a guard at every entrance. The guards that patrolled outside had some firepower. That along with some very unhappy dogs.
The cameras were like a 360⁰ vision around the yard. This bastard had one at every corner of this huge estate of his.
Okay, this was paranoia.
But I did notice something. The sewage lines were like a ray of hope. I left the estate right then.
I covered the poison my clove and threw it atop the tree by Jin's room. I was sure he wouldn't see it anyway.
The man comes home at night and leaves in the morning, way too early. And the guards are like robots, just patrolling mindlessly with very little attention to anomalies.
