Aldric raised his head and, standing upright, continued his thought, It's not like I'm dying to serve you. I'm only here because of my sister.
We see a flashback when both Aldric and Lyriana finished cleaning up the hallway from the fight between Draven and Aldric. Aldric said, "Okay, now we've finished cleaning it up, it's time to go." Aldric turned around and started walking, but after a few steps, he stopped and turned around, looking at Lyriana, who was just standing there. "Hey, what are you doing? Let's go," he said.
"I'm not leaving," she replied. Aldric's eyes widened. "What are you talking about?" he asked. She continued, "We came here to find him. We might have missed him, but there is a chance he might return." He thought, I guess she's right. If there's even a 1% chance that he will come back here, then it's worth staying here. He said, "So, what's your plan? It's not like they would just let us stay here."
"I'm going to be working as a maid," she said. "A maid? Why would they let us work here after what just happened? And you heard what the kid said, right? And am I also going to work as a maid?" Aldric asked.
Lyriana just looked at him without saying anything. We see Aldric standing in the corner, continuing his thought, And to wait for him.
Draven's mom said, "Honey, so what do you think of Hannah? She seemed lovely. Do you like her?"
Draven, eating, thought, If I like her? I guess. Even if she almost shot an arrow through my head, it's not like I hate her. He swallowed and said, "Yes."
His mom said, "I'm so glad to hear that, darling. Because well, I may have already spoken with Olivia. Nothing is official, of course, but we may have gotten a bit ahead of ourselves. We discussed the possibility of an engagement. She's going to speak with Hannah about it. But in the end, the decision rests entirely with you and her. So, tell me, what's in your heart, my dear?"
Draven, still eating and hearing what his mom said, suddenly started coughing. Lyriana, standing near him, said, "Young Master, please drink this." She offered him a goblet of water with steady hands.
