Chapter 285 - Chapter 283: Peace of Mind

"Carnival Group Business Hotel. That's the one," Jiang Hai said to the girls behind him, gazing out the car window at the modestly tall hotel in front of them. Hearing his words, the girls, who had been admiring the cityscape, shifted their attention to the hotel, their curiosity piqued.

Speaking of Carnival, many people might associate the name with amusement parks, but this Carnival was entirely different. The Carnival Group Jiang Hai referred to was actually the Carnival Cruise Group, a major player in the cruise industry and a local enterprise based in Miami.

In fact, it is the largest cruise company in the world. Since their focus isn't on the hotel business, their hotels are sparse outside Miami, mostly located along their cruise routes. Incidentally, the owner of Carnival Cruise Group, Mickey Arison, is also the majority shareholder of the Miami Heat basketball team.

However, Jiang Hai's choice to book this hotel wasn't influenced by basketball but by its excellent online reviews. As a local landmark, the hotel received glowing recommendations from both domestic and international tourists.

Pulling up to the hotel entrance, Jiang Hai parked the car, and a doorman promptly approached to open the door and handle their luggage. Yet, when the doorman noticed that Jiang Hai was the only man in the group, surrounded entirely by stunningly beautiful women, his expression momentarily betrayed a flicker of surprise.

Miami is renowned not only as a leisure and sin city but also as a hub for fashion and modeling. Each year, countless models flock here for photoshoots and elite parties, making hotel staff somewhat jaded when it comes to attractive women. Still, there was something different about the girls accompanying Jiang Hai.

These women weren't just beautiful—they had an ethereal charm, thanks to Jiang Hai's unique spiritual energy that seemed to nourish them. Over time, their physiques had transformed dramatically. They were curvaceous where it mattered and lithe where it counted, exuding a natural symmetry that drew attention without effort. Darlene and Marianne, being younger, carried a youthful glow, while the other eight women were like ripe fruits—utterly captivating yet untouchable to anyone except Jiang Hai.

"Please, come in," the doorman said, quickly regaining his composure. One of them drove Jiang Hai's car to the underground parking lot while another escorted the group inside. They initially offered to help with the luggage—hoping for a generous tip—but quickly realized their assistance wasn't needed. Jiang Hai had instructed the girls to travel light, bringing only a set of clothes, swimsuits, and essentials like chargers. With their backpacks barely filled, the doormen's luggage carts were left idle.

"I have a reservation. The name's Jiang, from Boston," Jiang Hai said at the front desk, presenting his green card. The receptionist promptly began processing his booking.

"Welcome, Mr. Jiang," she said. "You've booked six rooms: one presidential suite on the top floor and five business suites nearby. Would you like to confirm these rooms?"

Jiang Hai nodded with a smile and handed over his Centurion Black Gold Card. The receptionist's attitude immediately shifted. While she initially regarded Jiang Hai as a typical entertainment agent with "models," the luxury card revealed otherwise. Not just anyone could casually book a top-floor presidential suite along with multiple business suites.

"Please book them for one week," Jiang Hai said. "We'll decide if we need more time later."

As she processed the payment, the receptionist subtly brushed her fingers against Jiang Hai's palm while handing him the receipt. The unexpected gesture caught Jiang Hai off guard, momentarily stirring thoughts he hadn't entertained since the last time he'd been intimate, during Chinese New Year back in his homeland.

"Ahem, the room cards," Darlene said with a gentle nudge, snapping Jiang Hai out of his reverie. She motioned toward the receptionist, who had finished preparing the keys. Jiang Hai awkwardly smiled, collected the cards, and thanked her. The receptionist, a stunning Latin American beauty with sun-kissed skin and long brown hair, had an undeniable allure. But Jiang Hai quickly refocused, knowing he'd embarrass himself if his thoughts wandered further.

The group was escorted to the elevator by the doorman, who brought them to the top floor. Jiang Hai had ensured all six rooms were adjacent to one another—a necessary precaution in a city with Miami's reputation. He inspected each room to confirm everything was in order before tipping the doorman $100.

The doorman's eyes widened at the sight of the bill. He had expected $10 or $20 at most, considering he hadn't even moved any luggage. "Thank you!" he said earnestly before departing with a beaming smile.

The business suites were all identical: two bedrooms of equal size, each with an en-suite bathroom, a cozy living room with a TV, a minibar, and a balcony offering breathtaking ocean views. The golden sands and turquoise waters below were dotted with beachgoers enjoying the sunny weather.

The presidential suite, however, was on another level. Spanning three bedrooms and two living rooms, it featured a massive round bed, a private balcony overlooking the ocean, and a well-stocked wine cabinet. The pièce de résistance was the luxurious bathroom, complete with a square bathtub adorned with dragon-head faucets at each corner. The tub, equipped with built-in massage functions, added a touch of Chinese elegance.

"All right, everyone," Jiang Hai clapped his hands to gather their attention. "We've had a long day of travel, so rest up for now. Around four in the afternoon, we'll head to the beach and return for dinner. Remember, this trip is as much about relaxing as it is about business. Here's the plan: tomorrow, we'll visit the clinic Cindy mentioned. The day after that, we'll go to Key West, followed by Biscayne Bay, the Everglades, and a shopping day in downtown Miami. On our last day, we'll visit Orlando's Disneyland."

The girls' faces lit up with excitement. For many of them, this level of leisure was a luxury they'd never imagined.

"Boss, the weather's perfect right now!" Afra exclaimed. "Why wait? Let's hit the beach now!"

Her enthusiasm was contagious, and the group eagerly agreed. After all, with the inviting ocean so close, it was impossible to resist.
