Aurora stared at Spencer's back as he left and was dumbfounded.
Though she wanted to stop Spencer, she couldn't muster up the courage to stop him.
It was truly strange. In front of her family and friends, she is easily able to control her emotions, but for some reason, she couldn't do it in front of Spencer.
"I... I should... stop him." Aurora muttered softly. However, her feet seemed to have frozen in place.
Just as she was mulling over whether she should follow Spencer to the football field, her phone rang.
Looking at the name "Emily" flashing on her phone, Aurora frowned, but she picked up the call anyway.
The news she heard from the other end made Aurora's face turn dark, and she gritted her teeth,
"What did you say?"
