One of Violet's wolves returned from the town. The next day Mae decided to visit us, we made a small camp not so far away from the village and we made sure we would stay as far away as possible before we attacked.
The wolf girl quickly went to greet the animal, kneeling and petting it with a wide smile.
I was looking in the direction of the village. From our camp, we did not have a full-on view, but I could feel it if you could say it in some way. Since the beginning, that place has been part of my nightmares, where everything dealing with the Holy Kingdom and Kali started.
I kind of miss her, even when we spent very little time together. I cannot stop the small smile that appeared on my lips.
"What are we doing?" Mae asked, playing with a dagger "We should be looking for my brother now!"
"I am not going unprepared again" I answered looking back at her "And if we can capture this village from Kharric, we have a better chance at defeating Balor, if we have to."
