That was odd. Balor suddenly talked about the Demon King and his words. Maybe Kali knows what's up; it was her father. Or worse, she has no idea what brought Balor to talk about him.
We returned to our route and moved along the different resources laid around this part. Some construction was getting done on this side. I could see some smaller buildings being under construction close to the shed where they were holding the slaves.
We needed to clear a path to enter or find an alternative route. A direct fight might cause enough noise, and it could cause us to get caught. We needed to strike fast and clear.
I took a rock and threw it towards a stockpile of rocks. The sound was loud enough to find its way to the ears of both guards, calling their attention. Immediately, we threw our bodies to the ground so they could not see us.
