Karsten walked inside, all stiff and tense. Unease settled in my heart seeing his glacial expressions.
Quickly leaving my seat I rushed to him and asked.
"Everything alright?"
I knew Urisa had been in his life since his childhood and it wasn't easier for him to see her like that.
I didn't know the reasons for their break up but it seemed like they had unresolved issues.
"Nothing, just people close to me trying to destroy whatever peace I try to find," he bitterly spat out, his hand reaching to crawl around my waist, pulling me into himself.
I willingly went, crossing my arms around him so he could hug me. His lips settled in my open hair, warming my whole body up.
"Sometimes people close to us don't realise they are suffocating us but whatever issues you have with Urisa, it's better to resolve them," I murmured, rubbing my hands up and down his corded back.
His body tensed, not because of my touch but, I could assume, because of my words.
