"I will respect whatever your decision will be. I want you to be happy for once. But I don't want you to suffer any more than you already have. If Karsten is going to hurt you more, I don't want him near you."
His eyes then dipped towards my belly.
"Even if you have to make a difficult decision, I will be there for you. Both of us will."
My brother passed a silent understanding with Stella, and she nodded, too.
"We understand what you must have been going through, facing everything alone. I wish you had reached out, Arata. But now we are by your side in this difficult time. We won't let you feel isolated."
Her lips bunched up as tears swelled in her eyes. I knew what they were trying to say.
"I am keeping the baby," I firmly told them.
Both of them understandably smiled at my decision as I continued.
