"The houses are coming along just fine." Jannah hummed out, her eyes landing and inspecting every house she passed by.
"There's no one working at the walls right now, the two groups are recharging themselves, but they are halfway done." Jeriel said, informing Jannah about the progress of the expansion for the training grounds.
"Sounds great, let's go finish that wall so they could focus on finishing the houses instead." Jannah stated, her pace picking up as she made her way to the gates.
The two of them reached the gates sooner than expected and were greeted by Kean, who was standing guard on the watchtower.
"My lady." The knight greeted her with cheeriness, "It was nice to see you walking around, looking healthy and well."
"Likewise, Kean." Jannah returned the gesture with a small smile of her own, everyone seemed to be happy to see her walking around, like she was locked inside of her room for months and had only come out now.
It was odd, but strangely comforting.
