After the rain cleared, the sky became even more transparent.
The young girl, with her flat chest held high and shoulder bag hanging from her arm, walked down the spacious road and stepped into the little courtyard with the words "Hanamaru" inscribed on it.
Under the eaves, two pots of spotless white lilies rested quietly on wooden stands at the door.
The girl leaned in to look, poked her head out, and sniffed gently with her nose.
"Mm~~ what a wonderful fragrance."
Ayaka Rie opened her eyes, looked at the core of the lilies, and suddenly frowned, "Why does it always feel like something's missing, so bare, but Hanabi-chan has actually started gardening?"
"Did she learn it from that Uesugi guy?"
Images of the Uesugi Family's flourishing flowers appeared in Ayaka Rie's mind.
"Well, say what you will, that Uesugi guy does have quite a knack for gardening."
She nodded to herself, subconsciously glancing at the Uesugi Family next door.
