Qingzi was startled and curiously asked, "Why do you say that?"
"Some people just go wherever they want and some people remain broken," Lin Chuan took a sip of sake and then continued, "Qingzi, can you tell me what is the meaning of life?"
Qingzi blinked, and a faint Japanese song was playing in the room.
"I'm not sure if my interpretation of the meaning of life is correct." Qingzi smiled at Lin Chuan, "I think, we live in comparisons; darkness brings light, hate brings love, bad brings good, by others and their actions we know who we are and what we are doing. Everything exists through comparison, without ugliness there is no beauty, without loss there is no gain. Likewise, we always fear death, yet if people could live forever, I think they would fear eternity the same or get weary of it."
"So you mean people don't wish for immortality?" Lin Chuan asked.
