"Ms. Chantelle, now that Mr. Wilson is with you, even Trenton won't dare mess with you," Calvin said.
"It doesn't matter," Chantelle replied. "I'm not the same person anymore. Even if Trenton shows up, I won't be scared. I might die, but I won't back down." She wiped her face, then stepped out of the car.
Just then, the bodyguards dragged Ruby out of another car.
When she saw Chantelle, Ruby screamed with her voice full of rage. "You bitch! What did you do to me?!"
Thinking about how she would be punished for betraying her master, Ruby wished she could tear Chantelle apart.
"Ruby, if you make it out alive, stay out of my way next time you see me," Chantelle said coldly, trampling on her chest like crushing an insect.
Ruby tried to grab Chantelle's foot, but the bodyguards held her hands down.
"Chantelle! I'll kill you! How dare you treat me like this? You don't have the guts to kill me! Someone's going to deal with you. You'll regret what you've done to me!"
