In the current world, monsters were ranked by strength into six levels: Lower, Middle, Upper, General, King, and Revered. These corresponded to the extraordinary sequence's letter grades of E, D, C, B, A, S.

Each level could be further divided into three sub-levels.

For example, Lower ranked monsters could be subdivided into E, E+, and E++, distinguishing between beginner, intermediate, and advanced sub-levels.

Shinto priests and Buddhist monks followed the same ranking system in terms of strength.

Fujiwara Reya's current strength was B, placing him at the beginner general monster level, roughly on par with a human who had been training for thirty or forty years, or an old monster hiding for three or four hundred years.

Moreover, thanks to the two talents inherited from his parents' bloodlines, Fujiwara Reya's other attributes reached the King monster level of A, except for his attack which remained at the general monster B level.

*What did it mean to be invincible at the same level?* (tactical lean-back.jpg)

*You ask about support?*

*Real men were not interested in being supports!*

As for the Snow Woman...

She was currently just a lowly lower rank, but she was only 1% away from leveling up her experience bar.

Once she filled up this bit of experience, the beautiful and melancholic Snow Woman baby could upgrade from a lower-level nobody to a middle-level nobody.

Fujiwara Reya switched to the mall interface and easily found the item named [A Hundred Foods to Please a Shikigami], a rather strangely named product among the vast array of goods.

[A Hundred Foods to Please a Shikigami (Lower)]

[Price: 100 points]

[Upon purchase, it automatically transforms into the shikigami's favorite food, granting 1% experience boost.]

Buy one.

There were still 400 points left.

After confirming the only option, the Snow Woman, on the consumption interface, a milk-white popsicle appeared in Fujiwara Reya's palm.

Upon seeing the round and long popsicle, the Snow Woman felt something engraved in her body awaken, an instinctive reaction left by her master's numerous feedings.

She grabbed Fujiwara Reya's collar with both hands, leaned her face forward, and slightly opened her tiny mouth, "Ah~"

Her crystalline, soft lips revealed neat white teeth inside, and her soft little tongue looked pinkish. *Would it feel as cold as her skin when touched?*

Fujiwara Reya did not know.

He only knew that the breath the Snow Woman exhaled was about the same as the cold air blowing from an air conditioning vent.

*This had its advantages, at least during summer, he could save on air conditioning expenses.*

Imagining the Snow Woman blowing cold air at him all night, Fujiwara Reya could not help but laugh.

Having nothing put into her mouth for a long while, the Snow Woman frowned, leaned closer, and rubbed her nose against his, "Ah~"

Her nose tip was also icy cold.

"Here you go, here you go."

Fujiwara Reya gently placed the popsicle into her soft little lips.

"Mmm~"

The Snow Woman sucked on the popsicle, her cheeks adorably puffing out.

The scene was quite captivating.

Yet, Fujiwara Reya remained pure-minded.

After all… *the Snow Woman was still just a baby!*

While she was licking the popsicle, Fujiwara Reya switched the system back to the panel and opened the Snow Woman's info interface.

[Name: Snow Princess]

[Not Awakened]

[Bond Level: 20%]

[Level: Lower (99%)]

[Attack: E]

[Defense: E+]

[Speed: E]

[Support: E++]

[Active Skill: Ice Arrow (LV1)]

[Innate Passive: None]

Ice Arrow was a single-target basic attack, with attack power equal to its base attack power, having no additional bonuses, but against opponents of the same rank, it carried a 10% chance of applying sluggish and freezing debuffs.

For each level higher the opponent was, the chance of the negative effect triggering was halved;

Conversely, for each level lower the opponent was, the chance of the negative effect triggering was doubled.

The ice pop was quickly licked clean, and the Snow Woman blinked her large eyes, looking slightly pleadingly at Fujiwara Reya, "Ah~"

[Feeding Complete]

[Snow Woman Experience +1%]

[Current Snow Woman Experience is Full]

[Snow Woman (Lower) → Snow Woman (Middle)]

As the system notification popped up, the Snow Woman's information panel underwent a series of changes.

[Name: Snow Princess]

[Not Awakened]

[Bond Level: 20%]

[Level: Middle (0%)]

[Attack: E+]

[Defense: D]

[Speed: E+]

[Support: D+]

[Active Skills: Ice Arrow (LV2) Snowstorm Prison (LV1)]

[Innate Skills: None]

It was not just a simple attribute boost but also an addition of a new skill!

*That was very significant!*

Besides base attack power, a monster's strength largely depended on the strength of its skills.

Take Fujiwara Reya himself, for example.

Although he had not learned any active attack techniques, he was born with two innate talents.

From his father came [Mountain God's Protection], which could greatly enhance his defense, and allowed him to communicate with all living beings; from his mother, [Child of the Wind], which could greatly enhance his speed, and allowed him to manipulate airflow.

With these two skills, Fujiwara Reya's current attack might only be at the level of a beginner general monster, but not even a King-level monster could kill him.

The Snow Woman's basic attack power was relatively low, but her basic attack skill had a stiff and binding effect, with a 10% chance at level one which increased to 20% at level two. By the final Revered rank, facing opponents of the same level, there was a 60% chance of stiffness or binding. *Truly absurd.*

*In any case, Fujiwara Reya had no desire to fight this kind of opponent.*

*Just think, if their basic attack had a fifty percent chance of freezing you, what's the point of fighting? Better to surrender and lose half.*"
