Lizarius bit down and swallowed an egg in one gulp.
The system announced, "Gain 30 Evolution Points and 1 Blue Scale Crocodile Gene."
Lizarius continued eating egg after egg. After a while, the system announced, "Gain 1080 Evolution Points and 36 Blue Scale Crocodile Genes."
Lizarius licked his mouth and asked the system, "How many points do I have?"
The system replied, "9,510 Evolution Points, 64 Flaming Wolf Genes, 46 Blue Scale Crocodile Genes, and 60 Wind Wolf Genes."
"Fuse all Genes," Lizarius commanded. He felt a shock run through his body, his eyes barely able to stay open. They slowly closed, and he fell down, losing consciousness.
Sunlight streamed through the waterfall, illuminating the cave.
The system announced, "Evolution complete." Lizarius slowly opened his eyes and stood up.
He looked much the same as before, the only difference being that the scales on his back now had small shades of blue from fusing with the Blue Scale Crocodile Genes.
Lizarius stood and growled. Blue flames appeared in his mouth, gathering into a fireball. He shot the fireball towards the waterfall, causing a small explosion.
Lizarius spread his wings and swung them, flying through the explosion. He didn't land but flew up to the sky, hovering in the air. He looked down at the wreckage of the battle, slowly turning invisible.
Lizarius flew away, heading towards the source of the waterfall's water. As he flew, he spotted a beast.
Lizarius, still invisible, spotted a beast drinking water. He flew down, landing silently on a tree near it. As he got closer, he saw it was a tortoise, as big as a bear. Lizarius's eyes glowed, and he thought, I'm so hungry. He stuck out his tongue, licking his mouth. He asked the system, "What kind of beast is that?"
The system replied, "Earth Tortoise. They have strong defense and can control nearby earth to attack."
