Lizarius, still invisible and rolled up on top of the tree, said, "Yes." A massive shock ran through his body as he slowly closed his eyes, passing out from the pain.
We see the sun shining as the system announced, "Evolution complete. Mutated White Scale Lizard, Rank 7 low stage Beast." Sunlight dappled through the trees, illuminating Lizarius, still rolled up and invisible, slowly opening his eyes. He got up, standing on the tree, now visible. We saw Lizarius was a little bit bigger than before, and his horns were also longer.
Now I'm a Rank 7 beast, jumping six ranks, Lizarius thought. He spread his wings and swung them, flying upwards, out of the trees.
Lizarius hovered above the trees, looking at the stream, slowly turning invisible, and quickly swung his wings, flying forward. I got lots of points from eating fish, but I'm tired of eating fish, he thought, his yellow eyes glowing. I want to hunt.
After flying for a while, Lizarius stopped, hovering invisibly in the air above the stream. Looking down, he saw three white monkeys, about 3 feet tall, beside the stream. One was drinking water, and the other two were moving towards the woods. Lizarius flew closer to the ground and asked the system, "What kind of beast is that?"
The system replied, "Rank 6 mid-stage beast, Red Eyes Chimpanzees. They move in packs and mainly use physical attacks.
They can paralyze prey by making eye contact, making it unable to move for a while."
Lizarius suddenly lunged downwards towards the chimpanzee drinking water, which was unaware. It suddenly let out a low growl, coughing out blood. We saw Lizarius, invisible, biting down on its neck, releasing lightning from his body that struck the chimpanzee. The other two, walking into the woods, turned around upon hearing the noise from the lightning strike.
They saw Lizarius, now visible, standing near the chimpanzee corpse, steam rising from it. The other two fixed their eyes on Lizarius. He quickly stretched his wings forward, blocking them from making eye contact with him, and released lightning from his body.
He swung his tail towards both chimpanzees, sending lightning-charged golden scales that quickly reached them. Unable to react, the golden scales pierced through them, killing them instantly.
Lizarius slowly retracted his wings, his glowing yellow eyes fixed on the corpses of both chimpanzees.
As long as I don't make eye contact, I can easily kill them, Lizarius thought. He turned, looking at the corpse near him, and without wasting any time, he bit down and started eating.
