Although Arin realized that the figure before him was a Banshee, he wasn't entirely sure whether it was undead, as myths and fables had suggested, or if it belonged to an entirely different race.
The Banshee drifted closer.
Meanwhile, Arin contacted Zulkarnash via telepathy.
"My Sire, how may this humble servant be of assistance?" asked the Old Lich.
An idea struck Arin suddenly.
"Can you see what I'm seeing via telepathy?" he asked.
"Well indeed, my Lord, if you grant me your vision. Although it is more of a glimpse rather than true sight. But that would be enough for me, I can feel that!" the Arch Lich replied.
"Do it then. I grant you temporary permission to share my vision," Arin commanded, his voice cold and serious.
A strange sensation washed over him—it felt as though one of his eyes had lost its vision for a brief moment.
