Andrew entered to meet his wife in the hospital as usual, but something caught his vision… Lying on the bed was his wife, Moon. She flashed a smile despite her condition. Andrew wasted no time and reached her bed.
"Wh-What's happening to you, Moon?" Holding her hands, his soul was yearning to hear something good, something that would reassure him that yes, she was doing just okay.
"Andrew… You look so handsome today; you're reminding me of our college days when—"
"Tell me, what happened to you?" He cut her off, his eyes holding hers. In response, he just earned a sigh from her before the doctor entered the room.
"Excuse me, Mr. Specter." The doctor gestured for him to come outside. Sparing one glance at Moon, his reluctant footsteps took him outside.
"Umm… please sit down, sir." Andrew was getting irritated by this doctor's approach. Did he need them to tell him he wasn't the patient?
"I'm fine, why are you acting weird? I guess my fees are paid till next week, yes?"
